Hello!
My group just finished a really hard encounter, after which we have to rest. We used the action Treat Wound a lot, since it can recover a lot of HP for essentially free on a 8-hour rest.
However, we also used the alchemist´s Quick Alchemy by overspending Resonance Points until he couldn´t anymore (3 or 4 rolls, we were lucky). Since we were going to rest anyway, that is some free health recovery there. Now that the Infused trait avoid spending RP to anyone, we doubt.
Is it the intended use? We felt it´s too strong, together with Treat Wounds. It seems like every encounter is life threatening and we need a rest afterwards to recover RP, spells etc. However the HP recovery seems too strong.
I´ve read about Treat Wounds and the philosophy of timed challenges vs non timed and such. But I´d like to focus on Quick Alchemy just because why not. Were we missing something?
