Taking a potion, he looks to the others. "I'll probably need this, but I can't promise I'll be in the right state of mind to remember to use it. Once the blood starts flowing in my veins, I tend to make sure it flows from the enemies as well."
He'll secure himself atop a horse and stretch his broad muscles out.

"I'm not much for stealth, so likely I'll stick with the group but remain hidden to the best of my ability. Once the attack begins, I'll focus on taking the brunt of the arrow shots from guards, someone should take any watchtowers or elevated shots. My goal is to find that b#!#$ with the axes, and take her out my self. I'm sure my dwarven friend here can help me with that." He looks over to Orin,

"You're quite skilled with both sword and bow, so perhaps it'd be best if you took out as many of their ranged fighters as possible since I'm not much when it comes to range." He knew that Orin would be able to handle himself, in fact he was certain they all could keep an eye on each other.

"The only remaining question is whether or not we take them alive, or kill them."

Stevics words earned a laugh from xanwell. He simply shook his head and no longer cared about the fates of the bandits. He was now more interested in pushing stevics buttons, at least until the rest of the group made a decision. It seemed that the defenseless bandits would be murdered.
One last word to the party was spoken:
"just remember this moment. If youre drawing the line here and stating that killing defenseless men is what were about, then that is how we shall act in the future. Bandits or not, its never a good act."
Xanwell will then laugh towards stevic.
"like i said, its easier for you to be brave now. If the stag lord waltzed in here now, id fight to the death. But i think youd give him whatever he wanted, even your pretty wife."
That being said hell turn and walk away from the group and find a spot to rest, no longer giving stevic a chance to respond.

Ooc: it should be noted that while lawful, to kill the bandits now would be nuetral and not good. So if someone is trying to maintain a good alignment, this isnt the way to do it.

Holy crap i hit hard!

On another note i find grouping the enemies together gives pcs sdvantsges in tabletop. Not sure in pbp

Xanwell grins with almost sadistic glee, though the buzzing in his ears seems to grow worse as his adrenaline begins to flow through his body. He almost didnt hear the words his new ally said to hin as he drew his greatsword and raged. His first attack of the battle would be aimed to kill the horse beneath the rider as it seemed the horses were attackng as well.
Gripping his masterworked greatsword with both hands and spitting out of his clenched teeth as he roared with enraged power. The tip of the blade dug i.to the ground for but a second as it was raised up and aimes towards the bulk of the horse.. In the unlikely event he missed the attack, hed stand his ground and prepare to defend his new ally and the gate.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Damage 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 6) + 7 = 16
