Is there a reason the dice set in the BB are not numerically balanced?

Dice are traditionally numbered such that the largest number is located opposite the smallest, next largest opposite next smallest, etc.

Only the d6 is like this in the BB - to the point where I'm buying my wife a second set of dice from elsewhere, in those colors, which are properly made.

Hopefully the separate set is not the same build as what's in the boxed set:

This is NOT the case for the dice in the boxed set, except for the d6.
