Just checking to see if you are still gaming, etc.
Well I was hoping by May something would be out. Apparently not which I think would be ok, if we had some idea when to expect these to be released. I'm looking forward to new groups and opportunities to play different paths, and put one together to run. Anyways, how bout an update with ETA's on released? Thanx.
I'd like to have the ability to buy some of my adventure paths to run in Fantasy Grounds. I see that DnD 5E has gone crazy on their, and a few of our Pathfinder Adventure Paths would look great on their. Not sure what has to happen between Paizo and FG, perhaps when buying the adventures, we could have an option to buy the FG files so we don't have so much work to do to prepare in FG???
A friend of mine (Lebanon, IN) and myself (Beecher, IL) are looking to get into a group for pathfinder RPG. We are looking for something between us, perhaps along I 65 (Lafayette area would be ideal, but we are flexible. Saturdays probably work best for us. We both have many years experience gaming. So contact me @ thorun09@yahoo.com or reply here. Please use Pathfinder in subject line. Bobbo

At tier 5-9, skeletons are not worth the effort and there isn't enough space to create enough of them to matter. Zombies will work out better, but not sure if I can use them. No, leave the party alone.
Wow, One of the great things about society is that you can sit down with up to six complete strangers, and enjoy approximately 4 hours of game play. Instead of going off target here, let me just say I think this forum is a sad way to express what society is about. Not once in any of my adventure's in society, with several great dm's and player's was anything brought up about books vrs. pdf's. Hero Lab is a great program, and I'm slowly converting to it. I would hate to think that I would go to a convention and sit down with someone who would seriously dig that deep into a character. If I were the player I would be offended. Am I saying I'm perfect, nope. I'm saying I'm there to have fun, not be scrutinized by some rules lawyer. Bottom line is this, society play offers a fair way to play @ conventions. And while a rule or set of rules might be mistaken, no one I've played with or gm'd for has tried to play unfairly. Take it at face value and enjoy the true meaning of society. Have fun with those you game with and enjoy the experiences. I don't post often, but when I see a forum heading down this road, I figured I'd say my two cents worth, and never revisit this particular forum. Bobbo

Looking for a group to join up and play in that runs weekly or 2x per month. I'd like to branch out and try some new systems, so I'm up for any game system. Lansing ??. I know several states have a Lansing. If it is Landing Illinois, we may be the group you are looking for. Bobbo
We are looking to add a player or two for a long running group of gamers. We currently have 3 campaigns and rotate GM's ever three months or so. We also throw in a little society between campaigns. Our schedule is twice a month on Saturdays (9 AM to 4 PM), in which we usually focus and get alot done. Bobbo

So I'm guessing, the characters I have created under PF Beta will have to be changed on site to play PFS. I am in the opening seminar, at which time I want to get my toons ready, as I got quite a few good events planned. I have alot of things to do and want to really get involved with PF. Now that there's really no Dungeon or Dragon to get, I may look to subscribe to a PF magazine. Any ideas? I really enjoyed dungeon more than dragon, but with a new world a mixture of the two would be great. Bobbo

Well, I won't start PFS until Thursday, and actually have normal PF RPG Wednesday night. However, being at GEN CON for many years now I would recommend you save time for the exhibit hall, and many nice restaurants within walking distance from the RCA Dome. I particularly like the Ram Brewery. Other places such as the mall, a steak and shake, and even an Old Spaghetti Factory are all within walking distance. I'm real excited to start fresh with PF, as I've been playing since the original boxed set and it's a nice change of scenery for me. I'm hopeful that Paizzo will put out some nice maps of Golarion as I can't seem to get any online for this very new and exciting world. Bobbo
I've created two pc's I want to give shots at GENCON this year. An Elven Priest of Erastil and a Dwarven Druid. I'm in several events, so hopefully I can get both in an event or two. I don't have alot of experience in Society type play. I tried it for Wizards, but it was like fast food rpg. I'm hoping this will be a bit more personable. Anyways I do have one concern. I have created my characters, but Beta Versions. Is there a way I can get the changes before GEN CON to update my character sheets accordingly. I do plan on Buying the core book at GEN CON, and maybe the dwarven accessory. I would also like a NICE map of Golarion as that is our new world. Bobbo Sign in to create or edit a product review. |
