We're providing 144 dpi images, which are pretty darn high-resolution. Are you sure you don't have something in your process downrezzing them? (Copying to a clipboard might be doing that—have you tried dragging and dropping instead?)

Thanks for the reply! :)

For graphics, normally, I blow them up to 1" scale (for plotter printing) so the better the resolution the better the clarity of the blow up. With the current resolution they get too blurry when I resize.

I also use them for online PbP where the icons I drop on the graphics are usually 50x50 or 40x40 pixels (resized Fiery Dragon Counters), so I usually resize the graphics to 1 square = 50 or 40 pixels...

Might be that clip board causing problems. I have Adobe Photoshop so maybe I will try your suggestion of drag drop or opening straight into Adobe.

Thanks for all the great work and the suggestion as well. I will give it a try!!

Hello,

I would like to see higher resolutions for the Game-mastery maps. Maybe a seperate 'Hi-Res' download map pack option for those who want it?

I can edit numbers, secret doors, etc., out of the maps but find it is easier when they are higher quality. (I know, seems counter intuitive right?)

For online/projector play, higher resolutions would be *really* helpful. I would even pay more to access them... =)

Anyone else like to see higher resolution map-packs of the modules?

Woot,

p.s. Same for Pathfinder as well? I have a subscription to both. ;)

Maps of Mystery are awesome and always inspire an adventure or two out of me even if the ideas never make it to paper.

Thanks for the maps! The quality of the maps are awesome and your work is really top-notch Mr. West... (Lol... nice...;))

Online downloads for Dungeon are awesome. I would in fact pay more to have access to them. Maybe you should consider restricting access to them for subscribers only as a way to encourage subscriptions? They really are too excellent to be given away for free.

Anyhoo, three sentences in and I am already off-topic:

So… --> Any update on when we can expect the downloads for #135, #136, and the recently received #137?

I appreciate the downloads are always going to be a bit behind, but as my excitement builds for the next Adventure Path: Savage Tides, I worry that the online download supplements for Savage Tides will lag two or three months behind the magazine.

Thanks for the great work! Please flog the online-download-scanner-.pdf'er guy to exert greater efforts.

Dammit man! I need my downloads!! ;)

Hello GM Nymph!

Good luck on your boards! =)

I really enjoy PbP, it gives me a chance to get in a little DnD every day. As a professional in Northern VA, I have a hard time even carving out a single night to my tabletop group. PbP allows me to keep gaming when I otherwise might not be able to.

Anyhoo, your plug for your friend GM surprised me! See why here… ;):

(In case you are nervous about clicking strange links, it's my 'Death in Freeport' play by post game...)

My main page is here (Story thread link is above):

Good luck with your boards! Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions or reccomendations! :)

Just to throw in my two cents, if you are hungry for some daily DnD fixes, take a look at:

www.dndonlinegames.com

or direct link into my current game at:

http://www.dndonlinegames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2036

Look for the "Death in Freeport -- Main Game Thread". Just FYI as well, I am NOT affiliated with the dndonlinegames.com site in anyway other than as a user. Just a happy reviewer. :)

I would be interested in possibly doing a Shackled Adventure online as well if anyone is looking for a player. After Freeport I may try and take on Shackled or AoW online but I think you are looking at a looonnnggg haul if playing PbP.

If you got the right players though I think it would be great!

The download is super, especially since my group will be attempting most of the AP via Ghostorb, if and when it comes up. The visuals are so helpful to me as a DM. Thank you.

However, is there a chance the town's area map will be reproduced in digital form?

Just wanted to add my 'ditto' =)

Love the online supps (easily worth the cost of subscription to me), and would really appreciate a digital version of the town's area map. [Save me from trying to sneak the map into work to scan... ;) ]

Thanks! --AOM

If I or Tigycho would provide such an edited map, would it be possible to host these maps on the Paizo servers for other players? Basically... if someone does the work none of the others needs to do it...

Hrmm... almost guarantee there is a legal issue in there. Not because of copyright but I seem to remember something about AOL not paying volunteer moderators or some such. I dunno, not a lawyer.

That being said, I think it is a great idea and would be happy to clean up one map an issue and send back to a central person. They could hand out assignments, message volunteers, and such?...

I certainly would do it for free as well. Seems like a great idea. I normally only do the ones I need but would be happy to have two files for each issue, one with numbers and one without. If you need volunteers you can count me in for a share of the pie. I don't have enormous amount of time remaining between DnD group, Wife/Family, Everquest 2, and *ugg*...*shudder*...*hiss*--work, but would happy to help at least one an issue. ;)

I think the online supplements are just incredible and they are well worth the price of the subscription! Like others I enjoy turning them into battlemats or handouts. I was disappointed to not see a Hi-res version available for some of these? Did I miss it?

When modifying for gaming, the hi-res were nicer to work with and would expand a little nicer, so I hope this is temporary. Low-res works, but hi-res is better.

Also wanted to add my plug for ‘clean’ maps without text and numbers. I understand the dilemma and don’t have a solution other than to draw the map, scan it, and then finish it? Would be nice to have clean maps but I can brush the text/numbers out for the ones I need. Kind of like resolution, no text/numbers option would be nice, but normal is fine. =)

I guess I am just getting greedy at having such an awesome way to increase the quality of my local group's gaming sessions with these new downloads. Don’t want to leave ungrateful impression so let me say ‘Thank yoU!!’ and what a great idea, you have guaranteed one subscriber for at least as long as they continue…
