I had been playing AD&D for a couple of years back in in the 1980's when I stumbled upon a copy of DragonQuest 3rd edition at a discount book store. I became permanently hooked after playing the game. I've found that I compare every game system I have ever played since to DragonQuest and I now have gone back to playing DragonQuest. Having introduced the game to a new generation of players I find that I'm not alone in my love for this most elegant RPG. I hope Hasbro who I believe now hold the copyright will see fit to re-release this game or let it go to public domain.
