So here's the issue. Does Unadulterated Loathing require a material component or not? The spell description lists the spell as need verbal, somatic, and material components but no where does it list what the material component actually is. Is this typo on the devs part or did they forget to add in the material component when they were writing the material?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'll be looking at all of them.

Unfortunately, unless there's a cost association involved that the GM doesn't have to be a part of, the GM has disallowed any and all templates.

Lich works because there's a price to pay and it's something that could be done on my own without GM intervention. And it is the safest option of the three as well.

Even Graveknight works because there's a price to pay. Granted there's a bit of work to be done on it that maybe the DM will look past as long as i put in the two level ups after crafting my Graveknight armor but who knows.

This ain't your typical "we're all adventurous and we're going on an adventure" kind of pathfinder game unfortunately. It's PvP. So the less GM fiating the GM has to do, the better for him/her. But believe me, i would probably go vampire if the option was presented to me.

@Carla:
CURSES! They just had to put in a provision like that didn't they. *pout*
Well, at least that opens up a few feat slots for me.

Also, that circlet would be pretty darn helpful. Hmmmmmmm

@My Self
I've thought about a mostly oracle build, but theres just something about the anti paladin that appeals to me more than the oracle (maybe its because i always play full casters?)

And while i would go with one of those two oracle mysteries, they have the little thing that says my armor's max dex rating applies to my charisma instead while Nature's whisper does not. So i can slap on a set of full plate and get so much AC even monks would be jealous.

@CWheezy
That.... is actually a really good idea. I never knew that existed. Hm. I'll have to make sure it's ok with the DM though. It's got some pretty intense requirements beyond simply paying for your "phylactery" and now you're a lich.

But that is certainly a much better way to go.
I wonder if i could become both though? Is there anything saying i can't?

This one's going to be a team effort guys. We're shooting for a lvl 20 character - My GM has put a hard limit on 3 different character classes max so keep that in mind.
I'm currently playing a Drow Elf Antipaladin with a 1 level dip in Oracle to get Nature's Whisper so i can march around in The heaviest armor i can find with no worries about if my Charisma is effected by max Dex on armor.

So from from class bonuses and feats i have the following:
- Charisma to all my saves via Antipaladin
- Chiasma replaces Dex to AC and CMD via Nature's Whisper Oracle revelation
- Charisma to Initiative via Noble Scion of War
- Charisma to Will instead of Wisdom via Steadfast Personality (Double Cha to will now)
- Charisma to AC as a dodge bonus while fighting defensively or using total defense via Osyluth Guile (VS. one opponent and only against melee attacks)

The plan at this point is to save up enough cash to become a lich so i can get Cha to fort saves instead of Con (effectively giving me double Cha to fort saves) and to get my Cha to HP as well as a slew of other goodies.

Feats are approximately as follows:

1st: Noble Scion (War) (Cha to initiative)
3rd: Additional Traits: Magical Knack (Anti Paladin)/Warrior of Old (Elf) (+2 CL/+2 Init)
5th: Steadfast Personality (Cha replaces Wis to Will Saves - so double Cha to will)
7th: Dodge
9th: Osyluth Guile (Cha to AC as dodge bonus in certain circumstances)
11th: Craft Wondrous Items (To become a lich)
13th: ???
15th: ???
17th: ???
19th: ???

So am i missing anything at this point? Is there a way to get my Cha to reflexes or even to attack and damage outside of finding a good creature and smiting it?Are there any items beyond the headband of relevant stat that can assist me in this endeavor?

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated as abusing the Charisma stat in any way possible is the goal for the character.

I've got two questions regarding the unchained variant on multiclassing that maybe you guys can help me out with.

When using the Variant Multiclassing system does one gain anything beyond the secondary class features of the secondary class?
For instance, say i was a fighter with his secondary class being Wizard. Would all I gain be what is listed on the table for the wizard or do i also gain access to spells like a wizard does?
How about vice versa. If i was a wizard with a secondary class of fighter would i gain any of the weapon proficiencies that fighters normally do or otherwise?

Secondly,
How do you guys think the system works in conjunction with things like prestige classes? Suppose i end up qualifying for a prestige class and i'm using the Variant Multiclass system already. Let's say I'm a cleric with the wizard subclass and i decided i want to prestige into Agent of the Grave. How should i go about doing that in this system?

I'm not sure if you're the person to ask about this and if not, i'd like to know who is but i have a question regarding the Variant Multiclassing Rules from Pathfinder unchained.

Ok, cool. Good to know. I was scratching my head in so many different ways trying to figure this out.

ive seen it said around the forums that in pathfinder, a magic weapon can only be damaged by an item with an equal or greater enchantment bonus but no matter where I look, I can't seem to find this rule in either of the online databases.

Can someone help me locate this rule or help me understand why, if not actually listed anywhere, it is interpreted in this way.

Thanks for your help.

Question regarding the Antipaladin class.

It says in the touch of corruption class feature that the ability is modified by any feat, spell, or effect that specifically works with the lay on hands paladin class feature and then sites Extra Lay On Hands as an example of one such thing.

Some of them like Extra Lay On Hands, Extra Mercy, and Radiant Charge are simple enough. Extra Uses of Touch of Corruption, an extra Cruelty for which I qualify, and burn all my remaining Touch of Corruption uses for extra unholy damage.

However, some are... difficult to translate into antipaladin language and while it might be apparent to some, it isnt quite apparent to me.

My question to you is this:

How exactly do some of those Lay on Hands feats actually work with the Antipaladin's Touch of Corruption?
The ones I'm specifically asking about are as follows:

Greater Mercy - http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/greater-mercy
Ultimate Mercy - http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/ultimate-mercy
Reactive Healing - http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/reactive-healing
Reward of Life - http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/reward-of-life
Word of Healing - http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/word-of-healing

All of these have to do with healing others and harming undead. As the Antipaladin's whole thing is to harm others and heal undead, should all instances of heal be replaced with harm and vice versa or must the anti paladin have an undead friend around to actually be able to use any of these things as the concept of healing is still realized through using touch of corruption on the undead.

Also, seriously, how the heck does Ultimate Mercy convert to Ultimate Cruelty without being completely and utterly broken?

Answering these questions would really and truly help me in my antipaladinness and maybe help me decided if i should pick up some of these feats.
