Seriously? Little anti-climactic. Not very operesque (is that a word?).

Would it be possible to get this PDF as single pages instead of the ultrawide landscape format?
That would be much more convenient.

Is something wrong with the PDF?
That file size (350MB) is slightly nettlesome.

As this is a recurring problem (at the least since Highhelm), is it really that difficult to find the cause?

From skimming IT, two things I noticed:

In the Hero's Handbook page 64 Helping Someone, the Aid DC ist still 20 instead of 15.

On Kyra's Charactersheet the Box of the Deception still is ticked, but the proficiency bonus is at the Diplomacy skill, which I guess is the intended one.

There's no need to. Literally nothing in the "Physical Description" of Elves suggests they are frailer than other ancestries, or of Fetchlings that they are in some way more dexterous.

I am reading this description:
Elves

elves possess a fragile grace -> - Con, + Dex
grace, sharp intellect -> + Dex, + Int
with immense talent and knowledge -> + Int

The attributes were once based on these descriptions.
Thus my question whether there still is some correlation or practically irrelevant.

For the old PDFs, yes.

But the Blog entry explicitly stated:

Effective October 26 for new releases and November 1 for all other PDFs...

How come the pricing differs from the announced changes?
