I realize this thread is rather stale at this point but I would like to make an argument for this being a two point power. Please see the last line of the description:

"The benefts of this racial trait stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject's size category."

This specifically eliminates it's use with any enhancement which would most synergize with this ability. By level 10 this ability would be largely obsolete for any medium or larger creature. While an argument can be made that for small and tiny creatures it is still worthy, that's a really niche argument for a use that doesn't synergize spectacularly well compared to other racial ablities.

Edit:
I just realized I misread that quote and added a "not". I then take all that back and would go with a 3 point cost. Very sorry.

Both paths are fairly dungeon crawl heavy, with a bit of a reprieve in AOW's Prince of Redhand, and Library of Last Resort. I find it a little hard to believe that not one, not two, but almost four power groups are sharing real estate beneath a city in a dormant volcano. You have the gnomes of Jzadirune over the Malachite Hold of the dwarves, then there are Kopru Ruins separated from that and then further below that is the lair of the Cagewrights. Nobody would bump into each other? How far can you delve into a volcano, even a dormant one, before it gets a little dangerous to live there? Is it hot (and crowded) in this volcano or is it just me?

I haven't gotten to the Kopru Ruins yet, but they name does imply age. In the first two instances though they were at one point in the past linked, and both are abandoned (a relative term) in the current timeline being used by the same core group of squatters.

I put Cauldron on the border between Breland and Zilargo, on the far east end. There's a break in the line of mountains and a House Orien road there that goes past. Between the two countries not being at war and the collaps of the gnomish enclave Jazridun (sp?) Cauldron has languished. It was a back water post that the player had mostly been sent to by House Deneith or the heirarchy of Dol Arrah as appropriate as punishment or to try and help out the town respectively. But all of my players at the time were either soldier types or holy typs so that covered most everything. I have a spur of the House Orien line traveling up to Cauldron, with the Laughing Monkey (?) inn as a waypoint on that spur. Redgorge (?) is SW of Cauldron. The only confusing point is that all of my cardinal directions are rotated 90 degrees.

I'll make the observation that SCAP got a huge polishing when they compiled it. Having started it from the magazines then picked up the book, I now wish I had waited till the book came out (of course I wasn't aware it would) before starting running SCAP. I'd recommend waiting till you see the AoW in book form before you really form an opinion of it if you're not already bound and determined to run it. I know I plan to buy the book and then either I or one of my friends will run it.

Something to consider is when you try to raise someone their spirit knows who you are, what your alignment is etc. So that may put the Cagewrights in a bit of a pickle. LOL! City saved and they don't even know it.

I have to go with Coup de Grace a held oponent is not a good thing to do and definitely a violation of LG. There were many other options available to the monk from binding to manacles, to wailing on him for non-lethal damage (the monk is uniquely gifted in this way). Maybe lawful, but definitely evil. I see it as a bored pc and if they're that capricious I would discuss with the player if they feel able to play a lawful class.

I have the same question. I've asked both via scale mail and via the sage, but gotten no response. :( It's been a month and a half or more and by this time I'm third level and having to spend feats to gain access to powers. Without some ability to gain Dicipline powers other than feats, there's no point in playing an Erudite. While I know a lot of powers, I've used fewer than I would know as a Psion at this time, and as a Psion, I'd at least have access to the powers of one of the disciplines as well as being able to use any power I knew instead of just the ones from the unique powers per day list. Also because the Erudite has access to fewer powers, he also has access to fewer power stone and djories. While it's nice to be able to know those rare powers you almost never need, a Psion could cover them with power stones and other such devices, but an Erudite can't even do that as well. I've asked several questions of Wizards through their website and always gotten a response with a few days. On this specific question though, they refer me to Paizo and the Dragon staff. Well I did a search on their web site and they haven't even answered this thread. As much as I love Dragon and Dungeon, this lack of communication and clarification is very frustrating.
