Catalina has been around. Though still young, she's seen practically every tavern, inn, and gambling house in Varisia. In Riddleport, she tried opening a public house, but her gambling habit put a stop to that (more precisely, her creditors put a stop to that). Still, she managed to talk her way out of being sold into slavery and skipped town. Not hat she's settling down, but a slower pace might be nice for a change. Perhaps that's with the Pathfinders...
