I've been hoping for the Book of the Damned(Complete) and the Shadowstaff. I have a campaign planned around those two. No such luck for those specific items I'm afraid. But we do have deific items for Cayden Cailean, Desna, Irori, Shelyn (which is suprisingly metal). Some star guns, a ring from an fey lord, and a shield made out of kaiju.
I can expound if any of those interest you. But summarizing is a bit difficult. shelyn please :) also they fey lord ring Fey ring is the forgotten signet, tied to the lost prince. Wearing it constantly gives you mind blank, making you almost impossible to divinate.
But it also makes you almost impossible to remember as well, even a success makes it hard for others to convey things you've told them to other people.

Which also traps souls with no way to remove them (not even wish). It is also implied to be connected to some great corrupting force which the souls go to in the big beyond. The implication being that thing corrupted Zon-Kuthon, and even millenia under shelyn couldn't un-screw it.
Part of it's abilities even let you contact the thing, allowing you to learn serious info about evil stuff in general. (as legend lore, and possibly allowing a retraining for an evil lore). But it can literally make you evil if you aren't careful.
Shelyn will only lend it out to the most trustworthy individuals for extremely important quests, most likely looking for methods to "fix it".

Personally excited to see spells, I know a big complaint of the current system in my group is the lack of more modular spells (Heal, Magic Missile). I am hoping this changes. Also hoping for more fun "Divine" spells, I am just never excited when reading the current list. Honestly I am much the same I think paizo meant for clerics to be expanded by the extra spells their speicific deity gave them (which I personally love) but this left the divine list feeling somewhat weak compared to other casting traditions, especially in cantrip department. So I hope for some expansion in the divine list.
Also I hope there is some feats that benefit the boon to quickcast modular spells, something that can really bring back the warpriest swiftheal and strike feel.

Just got my pdf. Holy crap it's worth it just for the art, but I didnt expect this level of flavor for pretty much every race that comes into play.

Sporkedup wrote: I asked this before and it got no answers or ideas, so I'll pop back in with it again (seen it asked elsewhere on the internet, too). How do conrasu communicate? Do they have lungs and breath? For a playable ancestry, it's a bit rough not having any context clues for how to do that... I dont have the book but I heard they count as plants, so whatever people assume for leshy speech is probably applicable for Conrasu.

(I’m surprised not to see a +CON for carrion eaters!)
Yeah, given their senses and stamina, I totally would have gone for +Con and +Wis, and, given their racial reputation, a penalty to Charisma.
A bonus to Intelligence, now that's gonna be a big change, lore-wise, and I can't wait to see what's up with that! Gnolls have never been portrayed as anything like Dwarves, innovaters in craft or metalwork or architecture, or Elves, focused on arcana, so it's definitely an interesting choice.
These are definitely not gonna be your daddy's gnolls!
I’m SO curious to see what their culture will be like - especially in regards to faith. I love to play religious characters, and I’m really hoping for something unique here. I did read that one of the 12 magic warriors was a gnoll and as a result gnolls are welcome in magambya. These racial bonuses are likely a reflection of this lore specifically. I'm guessing alot of the gnolls in Mwangi are based around Magambya, and are alot more bookish. Regardless, it will certainly be interesting. I noticed that page 99 of the Character Guide shows a gnoll in a Magaambyan library. Eyy, thats what I wanted to hear.

Paizo has reflavored ghouls to be not just about carrion, but also ancient knowledge and lore, so it could be interesting to say that an offshoot of gnolls have a similar focus on ancient lore, maybe keeping records carved in bone.
One could say they have a "hunger for knowledge"
I'll see myself out
