After the grand battle with Malefeshnikor our party implemented Mythic Adventures with Rise of the Runelords AE. In addition, most of the 1st Chapter the party was only 4 members which allowed them to be about 1 lvl higher than the typical advancement rate.

As we near the end of chapter 2 (Skinsaw Murders - Foxglove Estate), the party has reached 7th lvl and gone through their first Tier Trial and we have yet to reach Magnimar.

Although I have buffed up Bosses with Mythic Templates it feels like the party with their mythic abilities appears to take on opponents with a certain amount of ease when they 'rest and buff up' before the battles.

Is anyone else doing a Mythic Adventures/Rise of the Runelords AE? If so, I would like to hear advice in how you would buff up Xanasha in the upcoming Tower encounter.

Actually, I placed an incentive for my party to face Malfeshnikor by placing an Akata female in the prison with him... I make Nualia's looks match the akata and when she was attempting to open to free Malfeshnikor she learned that this prisoner was her mother. I used it to make her even crazier than she is portrayed in the module so that she is torn by her birth mother and her adoptive spiritual mother Lamashtu. It gave her a dramatic send off and make Lamashtu even more sinister by sending her to free Malfeshnikor because the cultists used her as a baby maker and Nualia was just one that got away by a half-hearted female cult member years ago.
