Silver Crusade

Beginning this Saturday (Nov 12), I will be starting a new Pathfinder (D&D) campaign. I will be running the "Rise of the Runelords" adventure path. This campaign will be run one or two Saturday afternoons per month, beginning at noon at my house in Ft Wright, KY. We will go through the entire adventure path, beginning at first level and ending around 17th level. I expect this to take many months -- this is not a one-off.

We do not smoke. I always have snacks, drinks, and usually pizza. No experience necessary. We are willing to train. :)

If you've ever wanted to get into D&D, this is a good time to do it. You just need to show up. :) If you're experienced, this is still a good time to do it. I have plenty of minis, so you don't need to bring your own (but you can if you want to!).

Pathfinder is very much like 3rd edition. I know some people prefer 5th edition, and that's fine, but Pathfinder is probably more complex than 5e. Again, if you're new, don't let this intimidate you. We'll help! :)

If you have any questions whatsoever, do not hesitate to contact me! If you're completely new to gaming, I'll even give you a Pathfinder Core Rulebook, for free. I'm pretty awesome that way. ;)

P.S. I live in Ft Wright, KY, which is right across the river from Cincinnati -- five or ten minutes from downtown (depending on traffic).

Silver Crusade

D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) Pathfinder edition RPG gaming group located in Ft. Wright, KY, seeks one (perhaps two) additional player(s). We are late-20s/late-30s/early-40s/one-player-in-his-late-50s, do not smoke, and currently game approximately every other week (but sometimes we game several weeks in succession, and sometimes we miss a couple weeks). We generally play on Saturday afternoons/evenings, depending on everyone's work schedule. But on (extremely rare) occasion we've gamed on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons. No experience necessary; we are willing to train. :)

A little about the game: Combat is important and the combats are frequently extremely challenging (by which I mean the NPCs/monsters are commonly very tough), but role-play and storytelling are also very important. All skills get used at various times over the campaign (though obviously some skills are used more than others, e.g., perception), including all the different knowledge skills. It's epic fantasy where the players' characters are heroes (if they want to be) in the world. I set up the world and the events, and I let them decide. I always root for the PCs, even if I sometimes end up killing a few of them. ;)

Feel free to contact me with any questions. References available. ;)
