Hijacking this thread for my own nefarious purposes:
What is the PFS stance on the Falconer's Feathered Companion with regards to the effective Druid level? This has been scantly addressed on the forums, here and here.
In addition to the question of the effective druid level, it's also unclear to me whether these abilities replace the Falconer's base class abilities. That is, those on the forum suggest that the bird companion at L1 replaces Wild Empathy, however the ability itself lacks the text "This ability replaces the ranger's Wild Empathy ability". Similarly, Swoop for the Kill lacks "This ability replaces the ranger's extra combat feat at Level 6".
What's the official PFS interpretation of the Falconer class? It should help players choose between the falconer and a druid class (e.g. eagle shaman)
