I'm running my PCs through a gauntlet of sorts and the ending will be the four of them vs. four NPCs representing Karl Urban's(in our eyes) four most prominent roles. First we have Eomer Horsemaster as a Cavalier. Then comes his role in Star Trek as the doctor (I forget his name as I only saw it once and have never seen anything Star Trek before or since) as a Cleric. A gunslinger with the vampire template for his role in Priest. Lastly is his role as the C.I.A. agent in Red. I don't know what to use for that one. Monk with a pistol? Rogue who specializes in grappling/unarmed combat? A combination of the two? Halp friends! ![]()

Well this new monk archetype would clearly get improvised weapon as a bonus feat in the early levels. This idea sounds like if you spliced the reaping mauler and drunken fighter style (don't remember the exact name) prestige classes and then gave it a hilarious, but extremely necessary, charismatic flair. ![]()

Ok that's what I figured. Must have been an old house rule or something in 3.X (we're all new to pathfinder). But yeah, one AoO per round per person unless there's combat expertise. Thanks! ![]()
New to GMing and I was at odds with a friend my session about how "threatened" space worked (he was previous GM so I deferred to him for the time being, since I was too lazy to look up the rule). Anyway, my question is this: Lets say an Ogre is duking it out with party's fighter in front of him. Behind the ogre lurks the company rogue as she sneaks up to flank and wreak all kinds of havoc. To do so she needs to pass through the threatened area of the Ogre before her daggers can reach him. Does this ogre get the attack of opportunity even though he's in combat with the fighter? Same thing for a wizard casting a spell within the threatened area of the same ogre. Does the wizard need to cast defensively or is the ogre "distracted" by the fighter still? My second question pertains to hardness and damage reduction. Is it applied for every single attack (like when a fighter at lvl 15 gets his three attacks for a full-round action) or just the total damage after all attacks are made? ![]()
You're all missing the fact that she's an evil monster who may go on to do heinous crimes (even against the party itself). Now she WAS begging for mercy, so that adds a +1 on teh other side of the spectrum but at most, this is a justifiably neutral act, by a character who's main concern isn't good. Also, he was pissed. we all get pissed and will act out against our better judgement. He's not a pally so it's not a big deal. The thought of "alignment change" shouldn't even be an issue. |
