I would expect there to be established conventions and protocols for a duel like this, often the challenged picks the weapons and conditions. These parameters could be critical to a strategy.

If there are I haven’t been told what they are.

My paladin character recently became the champion of his deity (homebrew draconic deity of Law, War, and Glory) and after proclaiming it to the rest of the clergy has been challenged to a duel of honor by the man who was SUPPOSED to be the next champion. I’m looking for some tips on preparing. Good spells, weapon enchantments, gear and equipment and the like. Both characters are lawful good and bound by honor and the paladin code. Otherwise, the only rule I’ve been given is that I can’t accept outside help. My character is level 13 with his highest spell slot being a single 4th level slot.

I've been using a program called Hero Labs to help build characters for a while now, and I have found something that, while it is allowed on Hero Labs and doesn't SEEM to break any of the rules, I've been told it shouldn't work. When I go into Hero Labs and make an Oracle character, I'm able to stack the Spirit Guide and Dual-Cursed archetypes. The first outright replaces the Mystery class feature while the second changes it. From what I can tell from the rules, when this happens you can still take the two and the archetype that replaces takes priority. Is that actually correct, or am I just reading the rules wrong and it's actually an error with Hero Labs?

I've been having a debate with my DM for a while now about how Composite Longbows work, and I would very much like some help figuring this out.

So, I have a Composite Longbow +2. My understanding of the bow leads me to believe that the +2 is an inherent strength rating of the bow that transfers a portion of your strength mod to damage rolls so long as you have a STR mod of at least +2. No magic involved, it just comes from how the bow is built. My DM says that that is a Masterwork level, and thus refuses to let me Masterwork my bow, and claims that I can't get enchantments higher than +2. So which of us is right? Is it a non-magical, built-in attribute of the bow, or is it a magical enchantment/masterwork?

Also, if it is the former, does that mean I can get it Masterworked and have the bonuses stack?

Edit: Oh, and if at all possible, could you include any links to relevant materials (pathfinder wiki, paizo site, etc.)?
