I finished and polished up the menus that I wrote for the Pact Worlds. They were fun to write, and my players really enjoyed them. They work well as a bit of world building and a quick break from the action. Sometimes just two minutes, and sometimes turned into longer scenes where they chatted and schemed in the restaurants.
EXAMPLE ITEMS...
Wild Fruit - Castrovel’s fruit is obscenely large, bright, and plentiful. Tourists pose with torso-sized prickly orbs to make vidfeeds for their friends, or enter challenges to eat one entire kwinkji in less than sixty minutes. Few succeed. | one use: as a bonus action, recover 2d6 Stamina Points.
Ysoki Cheese - After weaning their young, some ysoki women choose to become cheesenurses. Ysoki cheese is rich, creamy, and heavily salted. | May re-roll one failed check in Engineering, Stealth, or Survival.
