Pathfinder Society Scenario #3–18: The God’s Market Gamble is a Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- to 5th-level characters (Tier 1–5; Subtiers 1–2). This scenario is designed for play in the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign.

Those participating as part of this scenario are also part of the ALLGEMEIN LODGE, a group of Game Masters who rotate responsibility of each new game played.

For those in the group, please "DOT" in when possible!

So I came into this thinking there would be some things I could translate into an ongoing game that we are already playing. My players have been more than willing to be flexible going into this and as we put together our characters these where the impressions we got:

- VERY Feat heavy, with heritage feats scattered about and not organized by level.
- "Hero Luck" still found its way into the edition, which with a d20 game has been necessary in recent games.
- We all really enjoyed the idea of a heritage progression built into each character.
- Not sure why Ancestry and Heritage kept being used interchangeably, confused us somewhat.
- We really enjoyed the Start @ 10 > Race > Background > Class > 4 "Boosts"
- Backgrounds were straight forward and a big upgrade from traits from the prior Edition.
- Players were disappointed that backgrounds did not grant an additional Signature Skill beyond Lore.
- The Lore skill seemed very broad, and not sure if this was intended or not. Required some thinking outside of the box.
- Spell points for Powers? Not to mention this was not clearly pointed out in each of the classes, and lead to a significant level of frustration.
- Confusion between multiple source pools. Magic reserve, Spell Points, and Class "point" reserves were really confusing (and hard to reference)
- Group agrees Spell Points need to just be renamed Power Points, and that Cantrips, Spells, Rituals, AND Powers be listed separately in the spell list.
- Removing the school with each spell for Wizard in the spell listing makes it very painful to look up spells to fill in the role of one's specialization.
- Like the direction this is going, but the heavy focus on feats will require friendlier tables/trees as the playtest currently is a pain to read

As of right now, I can't tell if spellcasters can get above trained in any spell, where as martial classes can get Expert/Master/Legendary weapons. I've been looking through the book now for a few days and can't find that out.

I'll try to share more as my players provide more feedback.

Hello Fellow Pathfinders!

I was curious if anybody happened to be attending PentaCon up in Fort Wayne, IN this year. I plan to be making the trip up there and wanted to try to run some games with some of the other Agents/Captains in the area.

I have no idea where to start with regards to getting a table or bringing my own scenarios, though I have a handful to take with me if necessary. And if anything I'm always willing to try new things if it helps the community out at large.

If anybody else is interested could you please let me know? At the very least I can assist with filling in any empty or short tables as well. Just been really enjoying the whole PFS experience and want to try to help keep the enjoyment alive. I've already contacted the PentaCon Organized Play Staff and hope to hear back from someone soon.

Cheers and thanks in advance for any info!

Hello Everyone!

So having had the chance to play in PFS format at IndyConJunction 2016 and following up this past weekend hosting my first "The Confirmation" scenario I am eager to start building my PFS GM collection. After having grabbed a handful of Evergreens (including the entire "We Be Goblins!" collection) I noticed that the "Cult of the Ebon Destroyers (PFRPG)" was a sanctioned module for PFS, which has been in my collection for some time though sadly I have yet to be able to run it.

Knowing that it is 7-9 Tier adventure, I was wondering how well received running a module like this has been for others, and how much time such modules typically take up at the table (I would image between two and three 4 Hour sessions). I am eager to get enough games under my belt to where any players who have played with me would be able to enjoy and play through such a module.

Thank you in advance for any and all input!

Sincerely,
- DicesMuse

Hello everyone,

My name is Chris aka DicesMuse on many digital platforms. I'm eagerly looking to join a regular Pathfinder game either bi-weekly or monthly on the weekends. Currently located in Grant County, Indiana and am willing to travel up to 75 miles to get to the game if necessary. This puts me within reach of multiple parts of Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Muncie, etc.

I prefer playing as a Bard, Cleric, or Monk as I enjoy support roles in most of the games I play. I'm mostly a story driven player with enough knowledge of the mechanics to enjoy flavorful and relatively optimized characters/games. I've played a mix of Pathfinder, D&D, Mutants and Masterminds, and FATE over the past 12 years and at this point I just would enjoy to get back to my roots and enjoy a good invested adventure that lasts longer than 2 sessions.

My plan is to head to InCon this weekend to try out as much Pathfinder Society as I can stomach.

If you could use a player like myself in your game please get back with me and we can exchange details.

Sincerely,
- DicesMuse

Hello all!

Name is Christopher, and I'm currently seeking out any PFS members in the Fort Wayne area. Unfortunately I missed the 3 Rivers Con this past weekend due to scheduling restraints, but I'm hoping I can get some better luck here.

Would anybody in the Fort Wayne Area be interested in hosting? Or even better, would there be anybody in the area who would be willing to trade of hosting and playing in a round-table fashion so that everybody gets a chance to play? I wouldn't mind hosting from time to time as long as I get a chance to play my character.

My availability is currently restricted between Noon and 6pm during Sundays and the rest of the week, Saturdays any time after noon I'm cool. I'm very interested in playing as a Monk, and am eager to meet new people and have some good fun!

Please let me know if anybody is in the area, or at least within an hour traveling distance. I know Indianapolis is popular, but I don't have the money to afford a 5 hour drive to and from the city every weekend (let alone every other weekend).

Any help or detail pertaining to this is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
- Christopher
