After consideration, I think it is now truly Time to Die, for this Campaign.

It has been a pleasure while it lasted.

GM. I hope you're still alive and getting some proper treatment for your PTSD. Life still has many a beautiful sight to be enjoyed.

All fine by me. No rush :)

And yeah, sure hope he's ok and has people to talk with. Getting to the point of being suicidal is not great.

And what's your vote on that? :D

Ok. Two questions left:

1 are we going to use the absent GM's special rules (with initiative and stuff)?
My vote is no.

2 how do we start?
My vote is: on the field, at some distance.

I've got everything ready except for the skills.

So... Sure!

How will we arbiter this in case of rules interpretations?
General consensus by vote?

I feel bad for the GM, though. Hope he recovers.

That's ok. I've decided to take antipaladin anyway... It's not often anyone gets to wield unholy weapons like that. If it does damage to my phantom animal, so be it ;)

Trade you for that ring of blinking? ;)

As an aside. I hope to have time, today's evening, to update my character.
I was at my father's for a weekend and watched GOT yesterday.

Everyone but you

Alright. Then it's a useless trinket. Would've liked to know that earlier, but here it is. Won't take an antipaladin level, then.

The ancestors curse me for a fool, tonight. Should have recognised an unnatural storm. I welcome the pain as punishment for my foolishness.

the damage broke the magic of my keep watch spell

"Trox, Fade. Go scout"

Eying Gorthug for a moment, it's clear to Zorgax that for now, at least, they have an understanding.
sense motive for Gorthug's intentions: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

Zorgax, with Raz, steps under the relative safety of the arch they're under.

Trox turn ethereal and wanders a bit further into the hallway, to see what's there. Trox uses its limited intelligence (3) to relay what it sees to the best of its ability

Whoops... Forgot the post, thanks Thadeus. I couldn't see the map well on my phone, so I thought I'd post later. And then I forgot about it, because the notification was gone.

Zorgax currently only seeks some shelter from the wind and rain. So he seeks not to enter any of the entrances, merely come close.

But... How does each entrance look?

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Since Zorgax isn't planning to enter, the closest will do. Before he goes there, he makes a round giving everyone a not too hard, not too soft kick, to tell them he's moving, and they can join. Perhaps he didn't kick the dwarf hard enough?
He ignores Walay, as he seems to be well set up.

As he approaches the nearest entrance, alone or together, he is weary of any traps or obvious dangers like webbing or some such.

perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35
perception: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23

He does everything slow and lazily, so as not to break his spell

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Zorgax knows the magic he's using, so he knows better than to take any more than vigorous activity. He also knows quite a lot about nature and the outdoors, so when the wind becomes annoying (in the first hour) he'll look around for shelter (was there an entrance to the dungeon, somewhere? A door like that, or a cave entrance would provide shelter from the wind). He'll then start moving there, but at half speed, so as not to break his spell.

So please tell me where I am by the time the rain starts falling and the dwarf gets blasted.

For finding shelter:

Zorgax perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31
Raz perception: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (13) + 21 = 34

Zorgax casts keep watch, targeting himself and his two beasts. If nothing external happens, Zorgax will not enact any nefarious plans during the night. He'll spend the night mostly mounted, falchion at the ready. But occasionally he'll look over some of his items, inspect the night sky, or scribble some notes in a journal. He mostly takes notes of his companion's behaviours, and writes down some of his experiences since capture, including his dream-meeting with the ancestors of his tribe, and the resurrection of Trox.

Now, let's continue our harsh game ;)

"I'll watch, all right, and so will Trox and Raz, regardless of who else keeps watch. I've learned how the leader of a raiding party can't afford to be sleeping.
So... Who'll watch the stars with me?"

Zorgax plans to cast keep watch as soon as everyone has agreed upon taking a full rest

Since no one seems to be doing something

Zorgax starts organising his stuff and looks for a good spot to spend the night, or whatever time is now.

"So, shall we take a rest, now, and enter that dungeon as soon as we're finished?

Zorgax responds with a toothy half-smile and then a laugh to Rashed's comment:
"Or maybe she just doesn't like me so much, hahaha!
But thanks, boss, those wounds were starting to itch a little. I can finish the last bit up, myself."

A small prayer in orcish:
cure light wounds: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Zorgax stares at Walay, and says slowly: "are you calling me stupid?"

And then waits a short while to see Walay's reaction.

Regardless of what the reaction is, Zorgax will slowly start grinning about it, as this is his idea of a joke.

"by all means send yourself to the abyss, Walay. I'll take an extra potion instead"

And starts reaching for a healing potion.

Thanks :)

GM, you've got a PM.

And I've got an additional question, still...
Would the Bastard's Sting's 2d6 damage to living creatures affect my phantom animal and my familiar?

I believe that's RAW, but... I also believe no one actually put much thought into antipaladins as a player class... For example, the touch of corruption lacks the option to use it on oneself as a swift action (as a paladin can do), as if no one would ever make an antipaladin that's healed by negative energy. And antipaladin is actually a companion class (see fiendish boon), which makes the Bastard's Sting a silly item. Also, that item would stop the antipaladin from ever riding an impressive warhorse, or even a nightmare (because that fiend is 'living').
SO... I reckon a little bit of RAI is required, and I'm asking for it now.

IF I gain a level in antipaladin and thereby I activate Bastard's Sting's powers, WOULD I be able to exclude my companion and familiar from its damage? Or even better, would I be able to exclude allies from its damage?

I won't go through the trouble, otherwise.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Zorgax seems pleased that the new boss seems to divide the items the same way that he would, himself, except for the amulet of natural armor, that the boss is taking himself. But taking more for yourself is a boss's right, so he's fine with that, too.

"That sounds great to me, boss. I could hang the amulet of the planes that goes to the abyss on Raz, if you're ok with that?" Zorgax indicates his falcon.
"also, boss, are you still going to heal me? Or should I use my wand for that?"

Rashed calmly sheathes his falchion, starts with taking the bastard sword, the bracers, the ring, and reaches for the amulet of the planes last.
I'm leaving it at that, in case someone still wishes to intervene

Funny indeed, but I do get it. I mean, bases are usually some way away from your social life, and leave you with some alone time. So PBP is a nice way to play when your friends aren't close.

I'm a civilian, now, btw. I'm using the registered nurse degree that I got in the army to work as a psychiatric therapist in a FACT team (flexible active community treatment).

"The bastard's sting for the blink ring, fine by me. That still leaves the rest. You like the sun shield, where I like that transposition ring. The boss probably does fine with the holy blade. Then there is that wooden special shield that's for one of the lawful types, either the boss or Gorthug. Gorthug also likes the healing amulet. Walay likes his cards, best, and has probably snatched some wands or other stuff.

That leaves the ring of sustenance, which is useless for the first week, the bracers of armour, and the amulet of armour. Trox can always use armour, if no one else wants it.

And the potions need to be divided.

What do you say, boss, is that a fair way to share things?
And who gets the potions?"

Is it just me that I can't find amulet of fortitude? And 'deck of cards', is that a deck of many things?

To Rashed's denials about being boss, Zorgux responds slightly exasperated.

"Look, Rashed, somebody's gotta be boss. And you've shown yourself to be the most underhanded, opportunistic bastard of us all, so clearly you are to be feared. This makes you an excellent boss. Also. You interfered in a duel for dominance, thereby winning it. The fact that you apparently don't understand what we were doing, doesn't change the fact that you won. So, suck it up and be the boss, boss, unless you want to be challenged, in which case I'd rather heal first. And about that: yes, please heal me. We're going to rest here anyway, so you might as well use your powers.

When Walay speaks about his 'sticky fingers', Zorgax interjects: "told you it wasn't the whole truth!"

When Walay finally comes clean about the necklace of strangulation, he laughs hard and bends down to clap him on the shoulder.
"See? You're like a goblin! Smart, but not to be trusted. Take it easy, though, we can be your friends for now, until we have to kill each other, that is."

Obviously in a better mood now that the world is more the way he's used to it, Zorgax turns to Rashed once again.
"Both the bracers and the amulet that improve armor could be useful for Trox, if they fit him.
I find that bastard sword intriguing, and I'd have to learn how to properly use it. But if no one else can use it, I'll go to work on that.
And of course I like potions as much as anyone.
I'm expecting you to share the loot fairly, boss. "

Zorgax is obviously used to the role of lieutenant/advisor to the chief, and is not overly sycophantic.

I'd be okay with taking my ninth level in antipaladin, when the time comes, to gain martial weapon proficiency and proper use of vindictive bastard. But only if the standard damage to those around me excludes my phantom animal, and my familiar. So... GM?

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

I think it worked out fun, in the end. I hadn't expected Gorthug to react so heavily on "you act like a child". I didn't even say "you are like a child", or some such. But that's how escalation works. You never know what hits a note on the other one. Zorgax went off on 'Runt'. And on the fact that he was trying to play boss, the moment Gorthug challenged him.

A ray with a sneak attack now, would be deadly, I think. The two 'orcs' have overextended themselves.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

orcish:
"let go, come"

Trox lets go and backs off. To Rashid, Zorgax grins and tips his fingers to his forehead.

"He's yours, boss. Now, come, you have items to divide amongst your horde."

Zorgax indicates towards where Walay and he had stood before.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Since Rashid speaks of survival and taking the fight to the captors, which Zorgax himself spoke about earlier, he finds himself agreeing with that bit of the speech. At the same time, the human clearly has not a clue as to what free will means, and apparently has decided that he should be the leader of this ragtag group. For now, there is too much going on to challenge yet a third person. Zorgax must bide his time. This group is not as sensible as an orc tribe would be, and thus he must endure. It apparently is his fate to learn this.

He smirks at Rashid, clearly unconvinced, but unwilling to challenge him right now, and says to Gorthug.

"You should know, beaten one, that my beasts and I will always fight as one. They, and the magic that's granted me by the ancestors, are as much a part of me as my body is. Any fight without my magic or my beasts would be a game, and settling scores or responding to challenges or insults are no games. I fight with all I have, and won't hold back because of any gameplay that you, with your mind full of rules, think up.
Now, this human opportunistically takes dominance while we were fighting over it, which is a thing a goblin would do. He doesn't play by your rules either. He takes advantage of a good moment. And his first act as boss is to tell me to spare you.
You're saved from our duel by this human, if you allow yourself to be. If you submit to him, I'll let you go. If you submit to Trox, who is me, I will let you go. If you can't live with the shame and wish for an honourable death, I'll understand, and I'll try to explain to the human why your death would be preferable for you. Or you could tell him yourself, of course."

Trox continues hold: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35

Zorgax continues to stare at Rashed, waiting for an answer. He knows exactly what to say to Gorthug, but he knows how to hold attention to the subject that has his highest priority.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Zorgax sees a scimitar hovering nearby somewhere, an unexpected intervention. No orc in the Red Claw tribe would ever dare intervene in a personal combat for dominance.

Free action to end rage. Zorgax is fatigued for 2 rounds.
Free action to end bane.

Zorgax knows that Trox will hold fast for now, but has his jaw and raking paws ready for a kill. Trox can hold that position for quite awhile, as Zorgax has used that tactic in impromptu questionings.

orcish:
"Raz, to me"

He stares the paladin in the eye while he slowly climbs off Trox to come stand, bleeding and panting, but calm, in front of the human. The falcon stops harassing Gorthug, and takes flight towards Zorgax's shoulder.

When Zorgax stands full height before Rashed, he says:
"Have you no honour, human? Gorthug challenged me. When I accepted his challenge, he struck first. When I overcame him, I offered life, but he chooses death. Who are you to intervene in our choices. What right do you think you have?"
In this speach, Zorgax is quite respectful of Gorthug, and seems genuinely angry at Rashed's interference with Gorthug's and his own choices.

Trox continues hold: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30

Aw, really?
It was just an orc brawl for domination. It didn't have to be deadly... But I can't very well let these insults slide, now, can I?

Oh well, I rolled low on initiative. Perhaps the paladin or the wizard will intervene...

I'll make my post when the GM gives me the turn. Of no one intervenes, Zorgax will most certainly finish him...

I'll post my full stats, btw. Sorry that I hadn't done so, yet. They're on my PC. I might be in time to edit this post to add them.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Phew... That was a long post with a lot of rules searching, because I didn't want to make any mistakes. I'll go and cast my vote for the provinces, now, for which I suddenly have to hurry :D

initiative each round seems fun! wish I'd know, it, though. I might have gone for a higher initiative character.

Anyway. Booyah, Gorthug! ;)

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

holy F! initiative +13, Rashed?

Zorgax grunts with pain as he takes multiple strong hits. His mind hesitates but a moment. Should he go to ground and attack from hiding? But that moment takes only a tenth of a second, until the psychological trauma of recent events pushes him over the edge and he charges Trox forward, while Raz flies off his shoulder to make a dive at an opportune moment. All three beasts, for beasts they are all, have murder in their eyes.

orcish:
"Take him and hold him, Trox!"

Zorgax: Swift action to activate bane, free action to activate rage
I'm flanking because of the pack flanking feat. I'll note flanking bonus as +4, as I have the outflank feat

Trox pounces in his charge, while Zorgax makes ready to add his own strikes.
claw (flank, charge, power attack): 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 = 29
damage (+4 power attack, -7 DR): 1d6 + 8 + 4 - 7 ⇒ (2) + 8 + 4 - 7 = 7
claw (flank, charge, power attack): 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 = 17
Miss
bite (flank, charge, power attack): 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 + 2 - 2 = 29
damage (+4 power attack, -7 DR): 1d8 + 8 + 4 - 7 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 4 - 7 = 10
A hit with bite means GRAB
grapple (flank, power attack): 1d20 + 16 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 16 + 4 - 2 = 35
I calculate your CMD to be 8+7+2=17. Even if I'm a little wrong, I think 35 does the trick. That means you're GRAPPLED (-4 to dex, and more, so your AC is now 27)

Zorgax hangs over Trox to cut down with his keen adamantine falchion.
Falchion+1 (flank, rage, charge, bane): 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 41
confirm crit: 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 28
critical damage (rage, bane): 4d4 + 16 + 6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 2) + 16 + 6 + 4 + (2, 5) = 45

Critical hit draws an AOO from Trox as per the outflank feat, which Trox uses to Pin
grapple (flank, power attack): 1d20 + 16 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 16 + 4 - 2 = 31
You're now pinned (no dex bonus, -4 AC, no actions except escaping. Your AC is now 18)

Raz dives down to scratch your face
claw (flank, charge): 1d20 + 10 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 4 + 2 = 28
damage (-7 DR): 1d4 - 2 - 7 ⇒ (3) - 2 - 7 = -6
no damage, still annoying

Zorgax roars

orcish:
"YOU'RE BEATEN, RUNT!"
and adds in common "SUBMIT OR DIE!"

You have a total of 7+10+45 = 62 damage, and you're pinned.

initiative for next round
Zorgax: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Trox: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Raz: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

I'm sorry, I won't have time to post my turn until tomorrow evening (gmt +1).

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

So... Yeah, that escalated quickly... Bloody orcs :D

Anyway. You said you're not attacking.
Right now you see how Zorgax turns about, says grave mistake, and is clearly about to attack you. You just don't know if he's going to cast spells first or if he will charge you straight on. You have initiative (awesome roll, btw). Are you sure you're going to let him charge you instead of you charging him? Or maybe you wish to take another action? Or a readied action?

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Zorgax had a choice coming up. Cast fly on Trox to teach Walay a nonlethal lesson, or deal with the insulting Gorthug. It took him but a little moment to realize he cared about Gorthug's insults far more than he cared about a scared human wizard. With a grunt and a quick turn he swept into the saddle to charge Gorthug.

orcish:
"grave mistake"

Zorgax initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Trox initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Raz initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

I thought it'd be fair to counter your sleight of hand roll with perception rolls

Zorgax perception: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (5) + 22 = 27
Raz perception: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

orcish:
"if you want to move on, move on. You act like a child

"It was requested that we rest here, and with this find, that's not a bad idea. Now keep your distance, while the adults handle things."

Zorgax knows Walay is lying, because he gave 7 potions, not 6. slight of hand would have worked if you replaced the potion, but you didn't Also, he expects him to lie, because earlier he already identified his behaviour as that of a goblin.

Zorgax tries to gauge what Walay is lying about.
sense motive: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

"you're lying to the wrong person. I could be your ally. Speak the full truth, Walay!"

He snaps his finger and the massive, ghostly Warcat responds, growling with saliva running

Trox intimidate: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

could you specify what kinds of swords they are? Cuz in my mind's eye there are 3 longswords...?
Walay, I'm leaving up to you to decide a moment where you decide that your identification process is over. It's minutes, so more than just Thadeus's and my talk

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Heh... Bad luck is one way to call it. I was raiding for my tribe with my own raiding party. We were attacking an elven village, and elves are always tricky, so we went with both mine and Rograk's raiding party. Rograk was the son of the chief, and got to his position for being strong, instead of for being smart, like me. My group had been scouting the elves and we saw that they all prayed by dawn, so that was going to our moment to attack. Rograk, though, always attacked at night, and apparently thought that he should ignore my reconnaissance information, even without informing me.
The pointy ears had a fantastic nightwatch, and when Rograk spooked them, we weren't ready. We fought back hard, but we were slaughtered. Even my loyal Trox died."

Zorgax indicates the ghostly warcat next to him.
"I've no idea how I survived that. Or even if I did. Since then my recollections are limited to dark dungeons, some fighting, I believe, and dreams. Dreams in which my tribe's ancestors told me much, and reunited me with Trox."
Zorgax pats his ectoplasmic beast.
"So, bad luck, maybe... I'd rather think they're lessons of one sort or another."

Zorgax grins, and then adds

"Although, I must say I'd rather get through this lesson in my own skin, what do you say?"

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Zorgax calmly puts away his falchion, and then hands over his finds to the (then still) invisible Walay. Once he's done with that, he gets his falchion out again. Not with any apparent intention. It just seems that he's quite used to having his falchion in his hands.

When Rashed calls out, he responds: "Fear not, holy one. There is an awful lot, here. Chances are good that you two will get something. All in good order."

Zorgax doesn't sound unfriendly at all. Clearly he has the idea that he's on top right now, or at least with the top group. And that seems to suit him, and make him more agreeable.

Then, he asks Thadeus: "So, what got you into this place? Do you remember being captured? I don't, really, so maybe you know something?"

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

To Walay
"The Abyss? I thought that was a place you send people when you kill them. As to using these items to kill you... Let's just say that's not my intention. I still harbor some faint hope that we can make it out together to destroy those who captured us.
But if, in the end, it does come to us killing each other, let's be sure to make it quick and clean, ok?"

Zorgax takes out the items that he procured:

3 swords, a couple shields, 7 potions that look like potion of cure serious wounds, and a small box engraved with runes.

Zorgax only adds the 2 scrolls if he doesn't understand them

"Would you take a look at these?"

Then, because Walay didn't seem to be opposed, Zorgax calls out to the other person he detected as chaotic, which, to Zorgax, translates to 'trustworthy'.

"Hey Thadeus, do you want to come over and see what you think? There are more weapons here than the two of us can wield at once, and you seem a pretty decent fellow"

you may decide for yourself what it means if a smelly orc-raised half-orc calls you decent :D

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

"well, perhaps one of us will survive to remember the names of the others. Carve 'm in a stone, somewhere. My name is Zorgax. They call me Zorgax the Brutal.
I'm all fine with resting before we enter the tomb."

Zorgax directs Trox, his ectoplasmic Warcat, towards Walay, who sniffs his location out pretty accurately. Then Zorgax dismounts deftly, his hawk still perched on his shoulder.

To Walay, Zorgax says
others can hear it if they stop talking themselves and only listen (or if they are insanely good at perception)
"So, Walay, you seem to be a cunning person. What do you say to this: You identify what I have here, and then we take first pick of the combined pile, before sharing with the rest?
Deal with me fairly and I'll deal with you fairly, alright? The paladin and his far-from-orc friend seem to be besties already. Perhaps we should have a talk with the dwarf, Thadeus, and see if he likes some of the items we found"

All Zorgax needs now is a "fine by me" from Walay to call Thadeus over.

Init +5, move 20’, Falchion +11, 2d4+8, crit x2 (15-20), Longbow +7, 1d8+5, crit x3 (20) neg energ res 10, neg lvl res 25%, bane rds 6/7, hunter focus uses 6/7, rage rds 3/4

Yeah, they're one at the time. So Zorgax now assumes you to be CN. Not quite a 'clear thinker', but close enough ;)
Honestly, though, I don't think I'm seeing an outline. I'm sensing a chaotic presence. Invisibility still works
