Apologies, RL got in the way and I haven't been online much since Saturday.
"That's not right, I should be 20 miles east of here." The priest shook his compass in frustration. "Taldan piece of..." He sighed and closed his eyes. "No matter. I'd have been sleeping out in the cold tonight. A town will allow me to refill my skin with ale, sleep in a bed, and drink with others in honor of the Drunken Hero."
Setting his pack a little higher on his shoulders, the priest set his eyes on the cathedral in the distance and started on again. "What was that bar again? The one with the purse and that putrid water? Witchfins? Hrm..." Not really his cup of tea, but he had thought that he could easily stomach the water when he last passed through the town. He had thought, at least. "Hagfish! That's it. Wonder if anyone's gotten that purse yet. Might as well give it another try, while I'm at it."
As far as the adventure style I prefer, I'm not sure there's so much a style as a good story. I am a bit partial to the McGuffin search and urban stories, but only if I really have to choose one.
