About Zeleysa
Background
Zel's parents made a living as merchants who primarily supplied the faithful of Sivannah. Sometimes they would leave Zel with close friends within the church if they thought it was going to be a dangerous or particularly difficult supply run. So it was not much of a shock when Zel announced she was joining the church. Last she knew, her parents were making their way to Absalom for what they hoped would be a very profitable delivery. Zel's superiors have recently assigned her to investigate the events in the river kingdoms, and it was during this mission that she was captured by bandits. Luckily she was able to use her ability to heal and her diplomatic skills to slowly become less and less a prisoner, and more of a tool for the bandits. Using her talent for illusions she was able to escape and eventually made her way to Oleg's trading post...
Why is Sivannah, or at least the church, interested in the happenings in the stolen lands?
2 words, Secrets & Illusions. The noble families of Brevoy & Restov all have some interest in the stolen lands. The Swordlords clearly have a plan, probably more than they are sharing. Who leads the Bandits? What secrets do they lands hold? One thing is fairly certain, not everything is as it seems. Hidden enemies and unseen allies galore, sounds perfect for agents of the goddess.
Appearance
Zel is a human woman of 20 summers. She looks just as he avatar does, save she wear breastplate when traveling through dangerous lands or into battle. She always keeps her hair cut just above the shoulders, not so short as to appear boyish but not long enough for an enemy to take advantage of. Though fit and attractive, Zel's stern gaze combined with the way she handles her Morningstar is usually enough to give would-be suitors pause.
Personality
Zel has seen many things in her short time, for the secrets of the faithful of Sivannah are many. She is a true believer, but one who understands there are many gods and you cannot battle against their combined worshippers. Her wisdom serves her well, though it is often tempered by the rashness of youth. The evil that she has seen only pushed her to work harder to show the world the good that exists and how common people can defeat evil.
