Basically one common ongoing problem I have is I try giving my players a rich world with tons happening in it at once for them to potentially explore and discover, but they lack any initiative to do even the most simple of investigations to discover this.

So I deviced a small group that would do all these things and regularly contracts players with mission/quests for them to do. The thing is, they have a habit of treating them terribly so of course they stop providing missions.

Then they proceed to flop around like a fish out of water. They'll see something fishy going on and go "hey, something's going on, let's go around it" and never look back.

I'm completely bewildered what to do. I give them guides and they chop off the hands. I don't and they seem to try their hardest to avoid anything. I could understand if they avoided combat, but they literally avoid investigating -anything- of oddity and the moment they see someone else on the road they hide. Yet aren't afraid of randomly making a enemy of guilds and orders filled with knights and fighters.

Just tell him, no one can grab the dice to examine it besides you. Leave it on the table for you to check the roll, that's your job not his.

or to simply just roll it towards you.

I'm confused, I signed up for the site but I don't see any information on how to get a hold of anyone or get the google docs / roll20 info if I join a game?

It could be a 1 HP creature for all I care, as long as it has intelligence.

So mainly looking for intelligence for RP purposes

Basically looking to revive my characters family member as undead.

Is there a spell to give a undead intelligence perhaps? Since dang, level 16 is a bit longer that I'd like to wait to do what I'm planning on.

Assuming I used Animate Dead on a creature and do not command them, would they have their own desires? Would they be able to talk and read?

The spell doesn't really clarify one way or the other besides they will be under your control indefinitely.

I know wizards are able to, what about wizards and bards? With some searching I was able to find Pathfinder Society ruling stating its possible through 'normal ruling' but it didn't provide a source for this normal ruling.

Anyone know where I can find this, how many spells I can learn this way and at what DC / restrictions?

I decided to do it as a level 1 bard / level 2 sorcerer (Starting level 3). I see animate dead, but is there a way to trap a -already dead- soul? There's Trap the Soul which works on already living people, and Soul Bind which works on a recently killed target but I can't find a spell to call back a soul that's already been dead. The desired effect is to place it into a zombie/corpses body.

Any advice?

So quick question. I'm in a campaign where we're starting at level 3. I wanted a crafter character who's formally a traveling merchant of magic goods, that could make basic healing potions and scrolls.

Now I'm a level 1 Bard and a Level 2 Sorcerer. Brew Potions requires Caster Level 3. Can I pick this up for my level 3 feat or do I have to wait till I get my next feat at level 5 for this?

If so, what would you suggest I get meanwhile in support of this? I want him to be a full on crafter char, and don't mind him being mainyl support in combat.

What if I had a scroll of invisibility, could that be used to construct that ring? Or if I found a NPC who could cast it?

Want to make my next character a magic crafter, but cant seem to find a clarification on exactly how it works. All I see is it adds +1000 to the base price and require feats. It doesn't clarify though if I wanted something such as either +1 / +2 on a item, or put a spell on it for others to use, and if it has to be something I can do.

Looking for a game that'll be done online via voice chat. My available days are tuesday, wednesday, and thursday (Either done before 7pm or starts after 11pm).

I'm on US East timezone but have very weird hours. I can either do real early days or real late nights.

Was hoping to play either a Paladin or a Wizard.
