About Yann Perick

Appearance:

A man with a halo of wild hair shining like spun gold smiles down from his position astride the magnificent twenty point roan stag. Armoured in overlapping leaves of cloth treated stiff as leather, thorny vines wend with the weft and weave of the fine fabric providing further protection. A longspear firmly held in his left hand shows his martial spirit while the sigils he sketches with his right hand belie an inherent arcane nature. This stalking conundrum appears quite comfortable wrapped in his enigma, that wry grin promising riddles.

Background:

Yann Perick is of the Black Woods. He is a devout adherent to Almahara, he is a member of the Druids of the High Summer. Forging a bond with a young buck at an early age, they grew together, becoming one creature with two hearts. Proclaiming himself to be a fae knight, he rides into battle upon the dire stag, inspiring awe from the common folk, disbelief from the noble born and fear into his foes. His audacity knows no bounds and he is eager to gain fame and glory for his exploits.

This martial bent aside, he is a formidable sorcerer, taking advantage of the battlefield by controlling the space and confounding his enemies through misdirection and outright deception. His ancestry is of the first world, the fey of the wild places. His blood runs true and it is evident in his radiant appearance and the command of nature which he effortlessly exerts. Even the druids reluctantly acknowledge his inherent ties to the natural world and admitted him into their ranks. His insistence that he is a knight of the fey, descended from the noble sidhe, is met with a rolling of eyes, but to date he knows no defeat.

Yann has left the Black Wood in search of greater fame and has found Newblack lying in his path. He relishes the opportunity to further his name and feels assured that a noble son of Mother Nature will be welcomed with all the appropriate fanfare due a hero.
