About Yamato-no-Orochi

Personality:

The name Orochi means:

the desire to understand and help others with their problems but, at the same time, you can become too involved and worrying as the result.

This name creates a pleasant, easy-going, and responsible nature.

Background:

During one of her travels, Koja found a nagaji corpse. Upon examining the corpse, she found a strange egg and an Ioun stone. The cleric took both items with her, but the egg hatched into a snake-like creature. The old cleric, knewing the creature for what it was, raised it as her own child. Although the snakeling was not very intelligent, he learned many things from Koja and his adopted siblings. It was magic, in all its forms, that captivated him the most.

Now a Theurge, Orochi nests in the forests near Sandpoint, visiting the town when the residents need something from him. He enjoys regular visits from the ranger, whith whom he explores the wilds together. He also enjoys swimming in the waters near Sandpoint, and has already saved more than one person from drowning.

The inhabitants of Sandpoint don't quite know what to make of Orochi, but they know that goblins are afraid of him, and that suits them just fine.

Orochi has killed some misguided adventurers in self-defense, because they thought he was a monster. This appalled him because of his gentle nature.
