Xorrin calls out and says You have a deal! Whispering to his companions he says I never said anything about her being conscious for the journey.
Xorrin, not having wanted to get in the way of the archers, calls out to the voice and says That depends upon how quickly you surrender! Surrender now and you will not be killed.
Xorrin readies himself to charge at the first orc that comes in range, causing a bottleneck for the archers to pick them off. When first Orc pops around corner:
Xorrin keeps by his wife's side as they progress.
Xorrin tilts his hat to the others and puts a hand around his wife's waist and accompanies her back to bed. ------------------------------------------------------ Xorrin wakes the next morning, refreshed despite the interruption to his sleep. He will wait for his wife and then head out with her and the others.
Xorrin sighs before darting forward with blazing speed, leaping into the air fingers formed into a curved blade shape which he attempts to rap into the man's temple and knock him out.
Xorrin gets up and says to his wife, By the gods, can't people be stupid during the day? He puts a shirt on and heads downstairs seeing Philgor on the way. Seeing the spear he says He's likely drunk. Let's see if we can end this without someone getting poked full of holes shall we? Xorrin steps outside saying to Philgor, Watch my back yeah? Looking at the large man in the hood he says Evening friend. What seems to be the trouble? Seems you're being a bit loud right now and perhaps this'll be something better dealt with in the morning yeah?
Xorrin smiles mischievously and says, waggling his eyebrows, You know what I'm good at, don't you sweety.
Xorrin just says without too much fuss, Where she goes...I go. Gesturing at his beautiful wife.
Xorrin says gently to his wife, My dear, these people do not think she drew them here willingly and know her much better than we. If they are comfortable with her here then we should respect their judgment yes? As Philgor says, it may matter not whether she stays or goes at this point. He whispers into her ear and says in halfling I understand your distrust my love. Though in this case I would rather her closer where we can keep an eye on her.
Xorrin nods at his wife's words and says Yes, please tell us. I need to know whom to punch.
Xorrin looks at Qiola before running outside to see what the commotion is about. Seeing the devils he yells out to them Cowards!

Xorrin places his hand gently upon his wife at the mention of orcs and half-orcs, knowing her hatred of them ran fierce and strong. Once she moved on to the next topic he turned and says A pleasure Argus. What sort of stonework do you work in? Sculpture, mining, that sort of thing? It's fairly obvious Xorrin doesn't know much about stonework but likes to learn new things.
Xorrin looks over, love and longing in his eyes...while at the same time swiping her drink and proceeding to down it in one go.
Xorrin puts on an exagerrated scowl and says Ach! I see how it is! I'm just man to you am I?! The cat gets a name but I get a bloody vague reference based upon my gender?! The indignity!!! He smiles and winks at the end in jest.
Xorrin smiles brightly and says A pint or two sounds excellent.
The male halfling smiles and says, obviously slurring his words for effect and not because he's drunk, Whatsh shoo mean, honeysh? Grinning at his beautiful wife, he then turns his attention to the newcomers and the mayor. He wears red leather armor covered in black studs and his hands are wrapped around the wrists and knuckles with some sort of tough cloth. Eating with quick and efficient movements, he has an air of explosive energy about him. He looks over at Qiola and says Of course we are needed! Aren't we always needed? Getting up from the table he walks over to where the mayor and the others are and says Good day to you fine people! I am Xorrin Faireye and that stunning creature over there is my wife Qiola. It seems you are in a spot of bother and could use the services of enterprising individuals such as ourselves. Orcs and devils you say? Well nothing a good swift kick to the face can't fix. Care to fill us in on what's going on?
