Tashi surmises that arrows, or his stabbing sword may not do too much to a liquid creature. He quickly looks around for a chair or something blunt to throw at the tea beast.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

"I don't know." Tashi replies. "Hey hot and green, who, or what, are you?" This question is directed at the humanoid mass of aromatic hot water.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Yep.

Bardic Knowledge: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Tashi tries to remember what, if anything, he might know about the living tea creature.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

While Shara tends to her tiger, Tashi removes his buckler from his arm and hangs it from his belt. The small shield was interfering with his sword-play.

He follows along when the others are ready.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

"Shall we see to it then?" Tashi heads off, in search of a stairway to the upper floor.
He tries to stay alert for danger.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

"Alone except for the monster upstairs, you mean?" Asks Tashi.

sense motive: 1d20 ⇒ 20

Xiang studies the gui closely as the fellow speaks, studying his body language.
"I think he's telling the truth."

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Seems okay. Tashi moves and stabs at the frustrated gui. He is finding the buckler to be something of a hinderance to his fighting style.

Rapier: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi moves in, with ineffectual poking motions of his sword.

Rapier: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Die roller hates me.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi is not broken hearted that Shara has taken diplomacy off the table. it probably would have failed anyway...
After the arrow is let fly, he darts through the doorway to take a position on the left.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

How are these gui armed? I'm thinking about talking to them, but if they have ranged weapons, I wouldn't want to risk it. Also, is it just the one door into the room?

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Are they in the 30' range for a surprise charge?

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

"Watertight jars?" Guesses Tashi. "Maybe they didn't plan that far ahead..."
Tashi switches to his sword, a long, slender blade, then tries to footpad to the door on the west. Once there he puts an ear to the door and listens within.

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi takes a moment to search the courtyard, before turning his attention to the inner gate.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi quickly draws and looses an arrow at the remaining gui. He has to be careful of the tiger, and Peony, so it's a difficult shot.

Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 3 - 4 = 8

Pretty sure that's a miss, but here's a damage roll anyway: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi moves in to the courtyard, following behind Shara. With his bow at the ready he looks around inside.

Stealth(untrained): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Tashi gets his bow in hand, then nods, indicating his readiness. He stays close to Bō. Stealth is not one of best his talents either.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Background info is cool. That's a big part of the draw of Pathfinder, for me. The 'exploration' of the game world.

I'm kind of a junkie for RPG fantasy settings. I've got 1st ed. versions of World of Greyhawk, and Forgotten Realms. The Birthright setting (2 ed.)
Also, the 4th ed versions of Dark Sun, and Eberron. And Golarion, of course.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

I usually check my games every day, so that works for me.

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

"I smell something... Tea I think. Tashi yawns, then asks: "Shall we stride right in the front door? Or scout around the back a bit first?"

Half-elf Bard 1| Init +3| AC 16 | T 13 | F 13 | Fort +1 | Ref +5 | Will +2 | Perception +9

"Place looks abandoned..." Tashi tells Peony. The tall half-elf shades his eyes with a hand, while he looks the place over. Something was clearly wrong here. The question is: What?

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Okay. This is the alias I would like to use instead of Taurven Wess. I had wanted to use the Taurven alias because he has been to some strange extra-planer locals. As well as trying to free Cheliax from it's diabolic masters. Taurven was my first alias to get into a game on these boards, he's been around a bit, in various guises.
I was thinking I needed an asian themed alias, so here's Tashi. He is native to
Jiangshi, having grown up in Xin.
