Quick clarification...the Kickstarter Page is unclear and I have received conflicting answers to these questions:

1. Does the PDF of Emerald Spire include the PFS certificate from the $5.00 level?
2. Does the Emerald Spire print back include the PDF?

In short I want Emerald Spire both in PDF and Print, and I want the PFS certificate. How should I manage my pledge?

1. NO it is only the emerald spire.

2. $100 - RPG Print Pack Add-On

For Backers who want to get the Emerald Spire Superdungeon and Flip-Mat Multi-Pack in print as well as PDF. The RPG Print Pack includes a hardcover print edition of the Emerald Spire Superdungeon, featuring an exclusive
cover available only to Kickstarter backers; a print edition of the Emerald Spire Dungeons Flip-Mat Multi-Pack; a print edition of the Pathfinder Tales novel The Crusader Road; and an Emerald Spire Campaign Cards game
accessory. Also includes 2 bonus Reaper metal miniatures!

Add $15 for shipping to non-US addresses. Canada and Mexico are not US addresses.

You may purchase this Add-On multiple times.

pledge 115 and you get both the print pack and pdf.

Actually, the $15 pdf level does include the PFS certificate. Quote from the message I received from GoblinWorks this morning:

"Our thanks to you for pledging $15 to back the Pathfinder Online MMO project. We greatly appreciate the support!

We wanted to make sure that you knew that your Reward had been enhanced with a special Pathfinder Society Chronicle Sheet that you can use in any Pathfinder Society event. This Boon was added without cost to all Reward Tiers earlier in the campaign."

Well, Paizo and Goblin Works are two separate companies, but the CEO of Paizo is the COO of GW. And:

Goblinworks FAQ wrote:

Which Paizo employees are involved with Pathfinder Online?

Because Pathfinder Online is very important to Paizo, almost every Paizo employee that works on Pathfinder will be involved to some degree with Pathfinder Online. Paizo's leadership team of Lisa Stevens, Erik Mona, Jeff Alvarez, and Vic Wertz, as well as Creative Director James Jacobs, have been working on Pathfinder Online since its conception.

So, the talent that works on the pen-and-paper Pathfinder IS being diverted to some extent to work on the MMO.

Also, if there is any negative backlash to the MMO, some of it will hit Paizo. I certainly hope there isn't any backlash like that. I'm not a fan of MMOs, but I share the concerns of Captain Marsh. I don't want it to fail, since I really like Paizo and all the things they've done with Pathfinder.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I could be wrong too, but what I thought he was saying was the fighter shouldn't have to spend any portion of WBL to fly. At a certain point while he hones his mastery of swordplay or whatever, he suddenly realizes that he's so good at fighting he can now fly.

No items needed. No help from casters in the party. He just swings a sword so well that he can now fly.

He just has to throw his warhammer at the flying enemy and forget to let go. :)

How about this:

"At 7th level, a barbarian gains damage reduction. Subtract 1 from the damage the barbarian takes each time she is dealt damage from a weapon or a natural attack." - From Pathfinder SRD, Barbarian Damage Reduction section, emphasis mine.

So I would say that DR wouldn't apply to falling damage.

Though I could see how a GM would think that's silly and allow it to apply anyway.

Couple of problems with some calculations.
The average person will only be able to generate about 1 to 2 cents worth of electricity per hour.
Also, Turin the Mad, you left off a zero from the divisor. Each person's share would be $33,333.33

I just wanted to chime and and agree that the customer service from Paizo has been great. The few times I've contacted them about orders I've used e-mail and received a response within 24 hours. (Of course, that wasn't during GenCon.)

Just found out about this from a friend, as I don't frequent the forums. I'd be in for $50!

Maybe a silly question, but will the holiday discount stack with the Planet Stories back issue discount that subscribers get?
