GM Fiat, True Seeing is now Transmutation like Darkvision.

That takes care of the RAW now who wants to argue game balance.

Let's be honest, breaking into Skyreach was pretty easy. It's amazing that the Pukeslingers have any secrecy at all. That was all too easy. This is why the Consortium always wins the important stuff.

I buy our GM a beer: Andrew Christian. Other heroic Aspis agents include longtime board yahoo Mr. Slanky, Euan, VL Dan Wilson (Canada BC), Matt & Ron.

I have never played with AChristian before, but was delighted to have him as my GM. I had heard that he rocked in the Special 2 days ago and wanted my own chance to play with him. His style is clear and fun, he's willing to roll with chaos 'alternate ideas', and is quick to smile.

From looking around the room, the 30+ tables are having a good time. Tables are animated and alive. There is a bar in the room that has a selection of local beers, both tap and bottle.

Side note: this hotel is a far superior option than the previous location. *Much* better food options, and the hotel breakfastorium has kickin' coffee (better than the internal Starbucks) and a buffett. This room is much quieter than previous specials. +1.

Our first encounter. The VL next to me comments that he plays a <blank> at home and admires the build he has been given. He crits and one shots on his first attack. These punkclingers fall so easily. No wonder they are the laughingstocks of the Inner Sea.

This was with out a doubt one of the best games I have played in in the last 25 years I have been playing RPG games. Andrew Christian proved that he is a 5 star GM by doing a excellent job. The players we where with provided a range of experience and where a blast to play with. The special had a great story and was a great challenge, there was a few typos and unclear parts which Andrew was able to get arround. The pregens where fierce and well balanced and had interesting stories and I love the special guest.

Beware the Hafling from hell (or at least Celliax)

PS I am actually a VC now I just haven't gotten the red shirts, I know more nitpicking. ☺

I get the feeling that the tables really like the theme. There is already a lot of 'dark' talk at our table, figuring out how many quickrunner shirts we can buy as Aspis agents. Yes, I kid, but we did talk about it.

Don't make me break your neck too.

Watch he doesn't step on your intimidate skill!☺

Thank you! We use a sound track in our games this looks like it would work better.

Still trying to think of a way to make this spell useful for players (You would think the GMs would like one less combat spell)until Tiny Hut kicks in;

I assume pulling up the rope and tucking it into a bag (or coil it) and letting it hang just outside the entrance would not count as removing or hiding the rope.

What about if the rope or the bag was black or camouflage would that count as hidden or does the rope in the spell component need to be Day-Glow Orange.

If all that fails can you bring your own door that is bigger than the 3 x 5 opening and a couple of 3.5' bars to bolt the door in place? (A arrow slit would be a nice touch)

This came up in our game and I see there is no official ruling yet.

Reading the spell description: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/d/detect-evil
1. Creatures with actively evil intents count as evil creatures for the purpose of this spell. (not just for the guys who have the guts to write it down) if you are planing on wiping out helpless Kobolds you might detect as evil.
2. 1st round you can detect the Presence of any evil
3. 2nd round you can detect the number of auras and the power of the most potent one.
4. 3rd round you learn the power of each aura. if out of site you learn the direction
5. Paladins can skip to round 3 by focusing on a item or person.
6. normal creatures, items, or spells under 5 HD/level have no "power" in their aura (note it does not say no aura)
7. normal creatures, items, or spells under 5 HD/level do not leave a "Lingering Aura".
8. if a aura's power is "overwhelming" and twice your level you are stunned for 1 round.

In my opinion after reading, all evil (and evil intent) detects, 5 or less have a aura but it does not come close to having the power to overwhelm (like a 11th level cleric does) or leave a Lingering Aura.

My analogy is it like a clear red bottle, with the lights on you can see it as red (if you are not color blind) but it has no power, you put a faint light in it and you can now see it in the dark, put a high power flash in it and you can now stun a guy with it.

In the end it looks like a GM call.

Looking to do some Fantasy Grounds games and was curious if any DMs out there had any suggestions to do map prep/missions and such.

Some of the best work was done by a VL that goes by the name of Trenloe on the PFS part of the Fantasy Grounds board.

If that doesn't help and you have a specific question PM me.

I have been looking at table tents for my players and I was thinking about printing blank ones and using clear contact paper to laminate them and using wet erase pens to fill them in and then I can reuse them. I was also looking at the Avery magnet paper for the tent and little tokens (printed or blank) for conditions or effects and they can stick to their tents.

Thanks, appreciate the well wishes.

Interesting point, if a wolf is not appropriate to a party, then a paladin in non-ceremonial full plate, A barbarian with a 2 handed axe, a summoner with a eidolon, a mage with a pysdo-dragon, a blade bound magus with a scimitar,..... probably also aren't invited.
