![]() I can't wait for the mermaid and centaur playable race options. Could we also get a way to change your biological ancestry to one of those (be it through an elixir or a ritual)? Ariel got a magic potion to give her legs, perhaps we could have an elixir that does the opposite? (In a way that is lasting, unlike in the movie!) ![]()
![]() It's safe to say that Pathfinder 1 was a pretty weird game. And you know what? It's unique and I love Pathfinder because of it. So I ask you, designers of PF2, keep Pathfinder weird even in the second edition, thank you. ![]()
![]() There is nothing more that I hate in pathfinder than Material Components. As a longtime player of spell-casters, both arcane and divine, I would like to ask, no beg, Paizo to do away with costly material components in the second edition! Please and thank you. P.S.

![]() I have a cool spell idea for Pathfinder 2.0: an endgame spell that instantaneously changes targets age (Similar to the Age Alternation in Heroes). The spell could only be reversed by a different casting of this spell (NOT by Greater Restoration or Wish) - this way it could fully replace the ambiguous "Eternal Youth" and "Immortality" class features AND be used in combat (save-or-die monsters... or perhaps save-or-toddler ^^). Please let me know what YOU think about my idea. ![]()
![]() I have question regarding the physical limitations of the Xenodruid's Guided Rebirth feature:
Quote: As long as you have at least 1 Resolve Point remaining, you can spend all your remaining Resolve Points as a full action to surround yourself with an organic cocoon. While enclosed in the cocoon, you are considered helpless. Eight hours later, you emerge having changed your type to animal, humanoid (of any subtype), or your original type, gaining superficial physical characteristics as appropriate. This change does not alter your ability scores, Hit Points, Stamina Points, saving throws, skill points, class skills, or proficiencies. Each time you make this transformation, you are cleansed of all poisons and diseases, are restored to full Hit Points and Stamina Points, and heal all ability damage. You must select a type other than your current type every time you make the transformation. You can use this ability once per day. Once you use this ability, you can’t regain Resolve Points until you rest for 8 hours, even if you have another means to do so. How exactly are "superficial characteristics" defined? Does this grant you access to flight and underwater breathing? Can you transform to a fast animal to move faster? Can you speak in the animal form? Do you get to choose biological (not only apparent) sex of your new form? (can you have babies as your new form) Do you get to choose the age of your new form? (can you use it to live indefinitely) Let's assume, for the sake of consistency, that the mystic in question is level 18 and doesn't reach level 20. Please discuss and FAQ. As a side note, please do not contribute with "up to the GM" etc. Thank you. ![]()
![]() Here is an example: a 20 level Celestial Razmiran priest. His level 20 capstone says: Quote: But his archetype says: Quote:
Does he get Unlimited use of the Wings of Heaven ability, even if he got no Wings of Heaven ability at level 9? (There are several other Bloodlines with the same problem) ![]()
![]() What exactly "It appears to be the same as the original, but it has only half of the real creature's levels or HD (and the appropriate hit points, feats, skill ranks, and special abilities for a creature of that level or HD)." means? Does that mean the DM has to make up character progression for every single monster in game? Is there any chance this spell could be made more simple to use / understand? ![]()
![]() I still can't get over the fact, that if I want to play a "life giver" character, a someone who restores life to the dead, I basically HAVE to play Razmiran priest or face financial ruin. A cleric (shaman, witch etc.) pays 11000gp to cast Resurrection+Restoration per person and that's just not feasible to do if you plan to raise dead on a larger scale. A razmiran priest, a someone who is only pretending to be cleric without a god backing them up gets do this more often and for free?!?! How is that any balanced? What is the solution to this according to you? Do we abandon material components all together? Do we nerf Razmiran priest? Do we pretend like everything is as it should be?
