Alaric will attempt to aid in the action of any Pathfinder, irrespective of any fey ties. In combat, Alaric begins by singing a song of Rage: of how the fey of the Darkmoon Vale reaped a harvest of blood among the young and old, of how the children laughed; fooled by fey magics as they were turned to meat and bone. He then moves up to assist Thurismund with turning a creature into pulp.
His dorn-dergar begins as a reach weapon, but is shortened to a close range weapon if the need arises or it is tactically more sound to do so. He casts mage armor at the beginning of every day on his Phantom (once it has materialised) and as many times as needed in the course of an adventure to keep it up on Thurismund. If buffing is needed and possible, he will begin with blur then follow with shield (if the threat seems to warrant it). He uses moment of greatness sparingly. |
