Backstory
"I was born in a small fishing village. Everyone there fished, it was the way of things. As I grew I tried to be a great fisherman, but my hands were ill suited to it. I could never work the lines properly, I was too brutish and large. One day, the gods of battle called to me in a dream. They said I would do great things and that I should strike out into the world.
So I left my little village and worked as a mercenary, I worked many jobs and as I did my connection with the gods grew. I learned to channel the blessings of the gods through me, and with their power I did great and terrible things. I began to be pursued by the spirits of those I had taken, some were vengeful, others sad, and a few happy. They have kept me company and taught me of religion, the lands of the dead, and even engineering.
I am still a mercenary, but now I am more circumspect in the jobs I take. There are already so many who follow me."
