The decision itself is reasonable and I absolutely support it. Failing to announce this with enough time for folks to roll their badge over before the May 16th deadline is insensitive to every player and volunteer relying on that input to determine whether they would attend or not. It is a breach of trust, and Paizo needs to address it with the community.

She invokes her character power, "At the start or end of your turn, you may examine the top card of the cohort Tonbarse's location then ([X] you may) shuffle that deck, then draw Tonbarse." Examine: Slashing Blade Alase elects to shuffle the location deck, and draws Tonbarse into her hand. Alase attempts to recover all cards in her Recovery pile. Alase resets her hand. Summary

If the scenario implies/states that the party is In A Hurry (tm) for narrative or mechanical reasons - then you gotta go with what you have. I would think most of us who have played spellcasters start with a basic loadout and then after hearing the briefing it makes me think "you know, maybe swapping in a Resist Energy or Lesser Restoration might be prudent" then I'll do it if presented the opportunity.
I am also missing subscription scenarios, going back to July. -#10-23—Passing the Torch, Part 2: Who Speaks for the Ten PDF
Hi - I saw my August shipping confirmation and have August digital content in my downloads but I am still missing my July PFS/SFS digital content: -#10-23—Passing the Torch, Part 2: Who Speaks for the Ten PDF
Also, I seem to be missing the single-file version of Lost Omens World guide (I do have the one file per chapter version, but prefer the single file format).

For me it was the perception of where the demand for both versions' GMs would be. I speculated that there would be equal or more demand for 2E GM slots compared to 1E. So when I got my email and saw I didn't have 1E that clashed with my expectations until you provided the context that most applicants were exclusively requesting 1E slots.
Bob Jonquet wrote: We have also had an over-abundance of GM volunteers who are only providing 1E as a program options. Unfortunately, moving forward we have to ask that anyone who selects the 1E program, also has to select either 2E or SFS in addition so we have the flexibility to meet whatever the demand for tickets may be. That would explain the distribution of my slots, lol. Not that I'm unhappy with doing ACG and 2E, just a little surprised.
Question: Understanding that we won't know assigned blocks until April, I had indicated availability for the GenCon Friday night block, but had submitted my questionnaire before the specials schedule was announced. Knowing now that Friday night will be SFS 2-00, is the expectation that the whole ballroom will be used, or is there a possibility of a few tables in the corner doing PFS1-2/PACG? I'm not an SFS GM and am trying to determine if I should email GenConLeads and shift that availability to a different block (or remove it entirely).
In one month's time the Kansas City Pathfinder/Starfinder Society Lodge invites its friends from near and far to Midwest Game Fest! 40+ slots scheduled (as of 10/1/18) including PFS, SFS, PACG and Playtest. Midwest Game Fest 2018 will be held Thursday November 1 through Sunday November 4th at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center in Independence, Missouri (east of Kansas City at the I-70/I-470 interchange). We have RVC/OPC sanctioning to run SFS 1-99 (Thursday evening, 6:30pm muster) and PFS 10-00 (Friday evening, 6:30pm muster). We do still have some capacity to run additional scenarios, particularly on Sunday. The con offers a $10 discount per 4-hour slot GMed. If interested please inquire in thread or PM me for additional details. Helpful links: Paizo Event page
Hope to see you there!
Hopefully a week is a reasonable time to wait before bumping :) The constant refreshing of the event page mentioned in the OP is similar behavior to what was described in this recent thread. While correlation <> causation I thought it worth mentioning in case there was a similar root cause.
Hello! Shortly before the site's outage issues (which seem to be stable, congrats!) I was added as a reporter to event #623650 - The Geekery in Shawnee, KS. However, the event does not appear in my GM/Event Coordinator tab and when I try to access the page directly from my Player Sessions tab the page fails to load, appearing to attempt to reload itself every 1-2 seconds. Here is the URL (not included in a URL tag). https://secure.paizo.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Store.woa/wa/DirectAction/signI n?path=events/v5748mkg0n76q I did confirm with the event creator that I was added, and have corroborated with other reporters on the event that they have experienced the same behavior when trying to report on this event. I know you've been dealing with a ton of issues lately but any insight you could add would be sincerely appreciated!

I'm not sure if this is only me, but the icon graphic for The Concordance isn't displaying correctly; I see the 'broken graphic' icon and the text 'The Concordance' next to it. I've done some basic troubleshooting on my end (clearing caches, etc.) in case it's a local thing but I'm not having any luck. If it's a known issue, I understand it'll be deservedly way down the priority list, but I'd like to see the little lantern icon on my profile when you can get to it.

That *is* interesting...I checked with my daughter and she sees 9-00 in the same event as I do, along with the Starfinder table she had.
The Pathfinder and Starfinder Lodges of Greater Kansas City are in the planning stages for PFS, SFS and PACG activities for KantCon 2018. KantCon 2018 will be held Friday July 13th through Sunday July 15th at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, KS (southern KC metro). The KantCon website is at https://www.kantcon.com/ We have the capacity to run up to 40 tables and at least one interactive special, but we'll need players and GMs to realize that potential. We are looking to program primarily current Season 9 PFS/Season 1 SFS/Season of Faction's Favor PACG content plus evergreens and quests. Watch this space for further updates! If you are interested in GMing please reply in thread or PM me for additional details.
I can also report that I see my 9-00 record now in my player record, good to see progress being made! But...(sorry, there's a but)...I noticed that the table was reported on the GenCon 2016 event (#82290) instead of the GenCon 2017 event (#153572). For me, I'm not sure it makes that much difference, but wanted to mention it. If it's useful for tracking purposes I can also email genconleads and/or pfsreportingerrors (the 'Report a problem' link).
From a volunteer structure standpoint I think the current model can scale to support small and large lodges, and can also scale to handle multiple product lines, based on the needs of individual lodges. In my opinion (and I state that up front, acknowledging I have a limited perspective) where resource is needed is on the corporate side. I seem to recall that Paizo was looking to hire another Org Play developer, which is a good thing, I hope that is still in the works. I'd also advocate that 1 or 2 Assistant OPC's reporting to Tonya to handle administration would be helpful. Of course that's overhead for Paizo so it's their call whether that's good business for them.
It's possible that's a placeholder image; confirmation of that would be good. And just because I haven't seen it explicitly stated (but there's been a LOT of stuff put out and could easily have missed it), maps are still scaled as squares and 1 square = 5 feet, and therefore "1e" flipmats/map packs/map tiles are compatible with 2e, correct? Buying new books/PDFs for the new edition I understand, but buying new maps because the old maps aren't compatible wouldn't feel very nice.

Did this question get addressed? I saw John's response that he wanted to huddle with the team before replying but didn't see anything after that.

Bob, can we adjust our availability as we know more about our schedules? I put in a survey but it's somewhat restrictive (which I know isn't as helpful). Once I know my other commitments I can expand my availability. Can we 'edit' our survey post-submission or do we need to email GenConLeads@gmail.com?
Hello, I've been sorting through my pawns and have discovered that I'm missing a sheet from my Bestiary 5 box. It is the mixed size sheet that has small pawns 31-37 (Psychemental-Shasalqu x2), medium pawns 116-117 (Thriae Dancer-Tulpu) and huge pawns 202-203 (Moon Giant x2-Sun Giant x3). If I could have a replacement sheet shipped to my address on file that would be awesome. Thank you!

Apologies for the additional stress - hopefully the sample here is enough for the Paizo tech team to validate that their recent release is presenting everything in the reporting DB that should be visible.
