The decision itself is reasonable and I absolutely support it. Failing to announce this with enough time for folks to roll their badge over before the May 16th deadline is insensitive to every player and volunteer relying on that input to determine whether they would attend or not. It is a breach of trust, and Paizo needs to address it with the community.

"If the Giant Hermit Crab would be defeated, reroll the dice. The Giant Hermit Crab is defeated or undefeated based solely on the results of the second die roll." Arcane (Charisma +2) plus ADN (+1): 1d10 + 2 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 1 + (6) = 19 Success! Alase ends her turn. She invokes her character power, "At the start or end of your turn, you may examine the top card of the cohort Tonbarse's location then ([X] you may) shuffle that deck, then draw Tonbarse." Examine: Slashing Blade Alase elects to shuffle the location deck, and draws Tonbarse into her hand. Alase attempts to recover all cards in her Recovery pile. Alase resets her hand. Summary

I'm not sure if this is only me, but the icon graphic for The Concordance isn't displaying correctly; I see the 'broken graphic' icon and the text 'The Concordance' next to it. I've done some basic troubleshooting on my end (clearing caches, etc.) in case it's a local thing but I'm not having any luck. If it's a known issue, I understand it'll be deservedly way down the priority list, but I'd like to see the little lantern icon on my profile when you can get to it.
It's possible that's a placeholder image; confirmation of that would be good. And just because I haven't seen it explicitly stated (but there's been a LOT of stuff put out and could easily have missed it), maps are still scaled as squares and 1 square = 5 feet, and therefore "1e" flipmats/map packs/map tiles are compatible with 2e, correct? Buying new books/PDFs for the new edition I understand, but buying new maps because the old maps aren't compatible wouldn't feel very nice.
I was thinking about how to have a set of characters campaign through an entire season as a unit (along with a couple of 'fill the gaps' adventures to maintain geographical or VC relationships) and came up with the following: Season 8 themed campaign: L1 The Confirmation --Training in Absalom The Wounded Wisp The Consortium Compact L2
L3
L4
L5
L6
L7
L8
L9
L10
L11
L12

This was my third year playing at GenCon and my first GMing. Didn't have a bad table on either side of the screen in the bunch. In all my PFS interactions over the con had only one negative experience (but as a result I got a fanboy moment I wouldn't have gotten otherwise so in balance I'm good with it). I ran two tables of To Seal the Shadow and the 1-2 tier of Solstice Scar. Fortunately I'd run TStS before so I could spend more reading time on Solstice Scar. Agree with many of the themes coming out on the thread and glad I had the chance to GM, it's definitely a out-scaled experience compared to local lodge nights and conventions.
The family and I are westbound on I-70 and should hit KC around 1am. Will come back to fill in some details but for now the highlights: --Two years ago at GenCon I played Phantom Phenomena for my first PFS chronicle (I chose Harsk because I didn't know any better, lol.) This year I retired my -1 Friday night at 9-00, then played my first seeker scenario (8-25) Sunday morning. --For the second year in a row my favorite, most powerful RP moment of GenCon came in the Sunday morning slot. --This was my first year GMing at GenCon. Three fun tables, two for To Seal the Shadow and one for Solstice Scar. I'll fill in some more stuff when my brain is a bit clearer.
Looks like quite a few schedule adjustments have been sent out. I haven't gotten anything yet but that could be because they haven't gotten too it yet. Is there a point at which I should safely presume my schedule is locked in? I don't expect an email to say "your schedule is staying the same" because the lead team has enough email to manage as it is :D
Re: Exchange - I have a feeling there's going to be a fight for control between al'Hakam and Karela to be determined by early season reporting. Re: Liberty's Edge - I may be in the minority but I like Colson Maldras. Is he flawed? Absolutely and that's part of his appeal for me. I do think something significant is going to happen that would pave the way for a change in leadership - I like the idea of Petulengro stepping up as a way to more cleanly break from Andoran. Depending on how that's handled (i.e. how they would treat Maldras) I could see at least one of my LibEdge characters switching factions in protest. Re: Dark Archive - I for one would love to see a subplot where Zarta Dralneen... Spoiler: ...makes a play for the Chelaxian throne (based on her connection to House Davian discovered in the Faithless and Forgotten series) and/or partners with Liberty's Edge to overthrow the Thrice-Damned House of Thrune.
