History:

I emerged from the Earthnavel at the age of 6. My family started the trek from Deep Tolguth prior to my birth, and continued towards the surface world my entire life to that point. Years later when I finally emerged I was alone, the rest of my family had been ravaged by demons, eaten by dinosaurs, or fell to disease. Most believe it is an impossible out of the Earthnavel from the bottom, hell most people believe there is no such place as Deep Tolguth, and though I have never seen it with my own eyes I know better.

I was taken in by the Sloth Jaw following, where I handled the birds mainly chickens, and Axe Beak chicks. I never really had the strength of the other Kellids, or the inborn rage, but I made up for it in my durability. I’m not the best hunter, but I am probably the toughest. I worked closely with the druids, of the Slothjaw following until I came of age. I asked one of the lesser druid’s for his daughters hand in marriage, and was told that I had better odds of walking across the world than having her as my bride.

Undeterred, I have always been a traveler, so when groups of Slothjaw’s were heading to the Tusk mountains then to Icestair for trade, I decided to go with them and do just that. I decided then to walk across the world. The Tusk Mountains were very warm and each of us Slothjaw followers took turns searching for food. I found a rather large egg. It would have been enough to feed half of the group. However when I made it back to camp and started the fire, I pulled out the egg, and as I cracked it a bird fell out. The other Kellids encouraged me to fry it up and eat it, but I decided to keep him instead much to most of my companions chagrin. The shaman travelling with us told me it was a Roc, and would grow very large one day, so I named him Rocko. The other Slothjaw followers teased and made fun of me for not cooking up the bird and eating it, and called Rocko a silly Vulture, and me a Vulture Lover. So instead of calling me Barok they all called me Vulture Lover, which eventually was shortened to vulture, and just kind of stuck. After leaving the Tusk mountains we eventually made it to Icestair

I met Po La the bureaucrat in Icestair and he arranged for me to travel to the continent of Tian Xia with a group of merchants returning home via the Path of Aganhei. I bid my fellow Kellids farewell and proceeded with the Tians. The trip taught me a lot about the many people who make their life in the harsh conditions of the Crown of the World. I met many Erutaki tribesmen living off of the land, Tian travelers coming the very way we were leaving, oh! and we ran from Giants too. We eventually made it from Icestair in the east, through the Rimethirst Mountains, Urjuk, and Hasanaliat, Ovikeer Pass, eventually crossing the Wall of Heaven and ending up in Goka. Tian Xia is nice, but Rocko and I are ready to go back home now.
