But aren't miniatures more for board games rather than cards? If that's so, why would they go to all the trouble to add cards to a miniature box when they can just put the cards in the booster packs instead?
Are there any mentions of making Starfinder Adventure Card Game? I understand Starfinder is still in the early stages as a RPG coming out this August, but I'm hoping they might release the card game at the same time. I don't think I'll ever get to play the RPG as I have no friends, but I'm having a blast soloing with the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game and would love to have the Starfinder card game.
I looked in the "Community Use Policy" and it seemed a little vague, but I think I sorta get it. My apologies. But I can remedy it by creating different materials to upload and distribute to the community so that it does not violate any policies, though that might take some time. Maybe I could ask Paizo for permission and have them look at the work and distribute them, so people can use some of the Pathfinder materials. But I'm not sure where or how to reach them. Even though I'm a graphic design wizard, I'm not too familiar with the copyright laws and such, so I don't really know how all that works. I will have to study about that soon. What I know so far is that copying for profit is stealing and I'm no rogue at that. Most of the stuff I make are usually for personal use anyway. If you guys have any suggestions on how I can make it work better without breaking policies, I would love to hear about it. Or explain the policies a little more clearer in English so I can understand it better and see what I can do. Appreciate it, thanks.
Thanks!! I would really appreciate that. Just take all the time you need, so there's no hurry. I am still experimenting a lot on the sprites and maps and coming up with many ideas. Right now I'm working on "hotkey skills" to help keep track of activated skills, something like in video games. I would make money if Paizo could hire me. I can see myself working at Paizo already! But none of the artworks in the packages are mine, though. Anything I see that I like, I just grab them and edit them heavily in paint programs and then make them workable for most programs. If I could, I would LOVE to write stories and adventures for Paizo too. Since it's OGL, I will probably do that one day.
I've uploaded a free package for any Virtual Tabletop programs to download that includes 67 maps, 140 character and monster sprites, and a few other tokens. But I've created this for Roll20 in mind. Instructions are included in the package. Please let me know what you guys think! I wanted to make it a visually pleasing tabletop game rather than the boring, flat maps and top-down sprites that they make that costs too much. So this package is completely FREE to download! Here's the link for download: Link Redacted To see what it looks like, look at the image here: Link Redacted If you want, you can try it out on my campaign on Roll20 by signing up for an account (it's free) and then go here: Link Redacted Be sure to sign in BEFORE using the URL, otherwise it'll take you to the sign up page. Please kindly put the sprites back in place after you're done! Thanks! - Vigorbird
Hello everyone! I'm new to Pathfinder. I used to play AD&D (and a bit of D&D 3.5) many years ago and now I'm learning again from scratch on Pathfinder. Now, I'm having trouble ascertaining the Druid as a spellcaster, to be eligible for the Eldritch Knight prestige. The Pathfinder Corebook did not mention or list any recommendations for spellcasting classes as per-requisities. It only says "Able to cast 3rd-level arcane spells." I went on anther forum and found this: "'Able to cast 3rd level spells' means a Wizard is eligible after 5th level, a Sorcerer after 6th, and a Bard after 7th or 8th (depending on Cha), a Cleric after 5th, a Druid after 5th, a Paladin after 11th or 12th (depending on Wis), and a Ranger after 11th or 12th (depending on Wis) 'Caster Level 5th' means a Cleric, Druid, Wizard, Sorcerer, or Bard is eligble after 5th level, and a Paladin or Ranger is eligible after 10th level." However, that information is nowhere to be found in the corebook (so far to my knowledge.) I would like to make certain this is right. The plan is to have the character become a Wild, Chaotic Good/Lawful Neutral Elf "Battlemage" type that is able to wield swords and use spells with some light or medium armor. I might choose Paladin or Fighter for the martial weapon proficiency. Any help and information on this would be much appreciated. Thank you! |
