Hello Friendly Paizo Peoples, It looks like there was a slight snafu with order #36369994. I never received the previous order which was Pathfinder Adventure Path #163: Ruins of Gauntlight from #Order 36325095. After contacting you guys a replacement item was placed in my sidecart to be shipped out with my next Subscription Order but I just received notification of my latest order shipping and it looks like the replacement for Adventure Path 163 is still sitting in my sidecart and did not ship with it. Is it to late to fix this? if not can the replacement for issue 163 be shipped out as soon as possible? Thanks
Hello friendly Paizo peoples. As the title says though it looks like the shipment made it as far as Urbancrest Ohio I have not received this order and its been over two weeks since I have seen any movement on the tracking of this order. If you could look into this and find out of it was lost and how we can resolve it I would appreciate it. Id really like to receive this as I was planning on running this with a new group. Thank
So.. I have the special edition rule book subscription but I dont see any advanced players guide ready to ship, nor did I get a shipping notification. I would start a regular rule book subscription but I dont see the ability to start with this book. Shouldn't I be getting one with the special edition sub and if not how do I start the regular subscription with the Advanced players guide?
Hello Friendly Paizo Peoples I have not yet received my physical copy of the latest last months Pathfinder adventure path. I see that it shipped and made it to Detroit processing center in the 27th of last month but has not moved or updated sense then. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello friendly Paizo peoples, I previously ordered a Special Edition Game Masters Guide and it is currently in my side cart. I have now subbed to the special edition rule book subscription starting with the Game masters guide. I just want to make sure I am only shipped one of these book as I do not need a duplicate. Thanks in advance. I appreciate all your help.
Ok so just saw this! First let me say AWESOME! been hoping for something like this. However this does bring up some questions. One, if you already bought the Pathfinder Core Rulebook & Bestiary special edition do we get free pdfs of those if we sub? I was waiting to sub to the RPG line after the Gamemaster Guide as I really wanted the PDFS but also wanted the special editions so figured I would top there.. now I dont have too. Two If I have the Special Edition Gamemastery guide already orderd and in my side cart will the system know to remove it and replace it with this one assuming I start with that product?
Hello Friendly Paizo peoples, With the holiday season approaching and finances needed elsewhere, I unfortunately have to cancel my Starfinder Adventure Path & Starfinder RPG subscription. Please leave my Pathfinder Subscriptions intact. As I am a Pathfinder legacy adventure path subscriber it is my understanding that this should be unaffected. Please let me know if this is not the case. I do understand that this will remove my eligibility for the free society adventures. I love all your products and will be resubbing as soon as I get past the holidays / birthdays and events that make the end of the year fun but demanding.
Hello Friendly Paizo peoples, I am curious. I see that I have received PFS scenario #0 & PFS scenarios #s 4 and 5 but I never got scenarios 1, 2 or 3. I am unsure when my Pathfinder advantage / 4 subscription bonus would have kicked in so im not entirely sure which of all these I am entitled too. If you could check for me and make sure I am good to go I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for helping me out.

Have you GM'd games where players have upgraded their ships? Now in home brew games its easier to contend with because the GM is typically making ships from scratch anyway but it immediately breaks any and all printed ships as the PC ship laughably outclasses any printed ship anywhere close to their own tier almost immediately. If you primarily run printed adventure paths this becomes a problem the moment PCs upgrade their ship. They can almost immediately make their ship so unkillable all printed ships become a joke or upgrade their weapons to the point where combat takes a couple of turns of "pew" "pew" boom and the NPC ship is gone. Now while that is entertaining for a couple of combats it quickly tuns Starship combat into a joke.. which is why actual guidelines for what you can build and how much you can upgrade when desperately need to be introduced into the rules. There are guidelines for absolutely every other aspect of leveling and upgrading from guns to armor to PC leveling.. yet nothing for Starship combat.
the MOST needed thing in my opinion is actual guidelines that work for upgrading ships. Right now while the ship building rules are functional they become immediately broken the moment a group of players upgrade their ship making all NPC ships (at least in printed dentures) superfluous. Beyond that expanded ship rolls and combat actions.
I can see why people are "invested" in a certain outcome for that AP but to be honest me and my group where like huh, cool I guess thats the story they want to go with and moved on. I mean I tie my worlds together, Heroes become figures of legend or importance in the world when they make new ones and our story rolls on. For us this wasnt anything more than a curious speed bump and we moved on. Our group likes that they are weaving a overall story for the world but then we are also fans of settings like World of Darkness & Shadowrun where this kind of thing is common.
well for every "it's too dumbed down" person there are those like me who feel the that its not at all dumbed down. Changed yes, for the better yes, but the wealth of complexity you can craft into the characters remains. I personally really, really love the new rules. It's a very solid breath of fresh air in what was a very stagnant rules system. I loved 3.5 & Pathfinder but after 15 plus years between them its extremely nice to see some innovation into a setting I really love. This was needed and I am glad to see them be brave enough to really take a fresh look at the system and deliver something truly fresh and interesting.
Just noticed that everything that was set to ship this month (Lost Omens World Guide, Age of Ashes 02, Alien Archive 3, Dawn of Flame 06 & Attack of the Swarm 01) no longer show as pending shipments on the manage my subscription page. This may be a result of the authorization shipment emails about to go out but wanted to mention it just in case its a wierd bug that might prevent these items from being processed. thanks in advance.

If you buy the book or pdf you get a discount on Roll20. I do not recall exactly how much. IF you buy the book on Roll20 then you get a free PDF from Paizo.
Love the adventure paths so far but I am also puzzled by the apparent disinterest in ANY adventure content for 14-20. I have a fairly dedicated group who would love to continue their characters to 20 and are used to being able to do this in Pathfinder Adventure paths. Odd that this doesn't seem to be a thing in Starfinder.
Persoally love the new rarity system. Will be using it and glad to see they included it. Beyond society play this is all just guide posts for the GM to give them a sense of how often something should be encountered in the wild or found in a local shop and gives a sense of excitement when the players do. Been looking for something like this for a long time and always implemented something like this in my home games anyway.
Ok so here is a question that immediately came up in my group and I was hoping for a answer. Can any class use shields regardless of armor proficiency? Currently shields do not look to be classed as anything (not light, medium or heavy) so does that mean even a class only trained in unarmored defense can use a shield and if they then acquire the shield block feat use it to block damage as well?
So just downloaded my PDF and love what im seeing so far. However.. Why can't I grab the images of the maps off either the Adventure PDF or the interactive maps pdf.. I have never had this problem before. Usually its simply select the image, right click copy and paste. I REALLY need access to this for setting up my maps in Roll20. Its always been a simple process before this. Is this a new change or simply a error in the PDF? If there is some way im missing to extract these images please let me know.

Personally I went with the Deluxe for all that I could and I don't regret it at all. The edition is beautiful. the Gold embossing is very lustrous and overall its much more impressive that the Starfiner Deluxe edition. it also has two built in ribbon book markers which is a very nice edition. It feels exceptionally well made. If you can spring for it I would personally recommend it but everyone's milage may vary on this sort of thing. ME I like unique books that in a few years will a a nice stand out for my collection.

I see this a lot with my subscriptions. They aren't super awesome about updating that. I have seen it sit like that for several days then suddenly its almost arrived.

Amazon does typically come in a lot cheaper however its worth noting that specifically for Paizo books they are usually not available to well after the street date in most cases as they get them from a distributor and not Paizo directly.

As for the buying it twice. I subscribe from Paizo, so I get the PDF for free already from them. I then can take my free pdf and bulid up my adventure in Roll20 for no added cost. To do the same thing in Fantasy Grounds I have to buy it again. If I did not buy physical books, with I prefer and like to collect then that wouldn't be as prohibitive but I do so it is. The licensing also bugs me. its just one more tacked on cost that seems like just another cost barrier. After all that yes the price is comparable but in my case its far more expensive than playing on Roll20 for simply the cost of my sub and a little work which by now is minimal, especially if you use the officially supported sheets with all the macros done for you. Though Fantasy Grounds is a nice service for my case its just easier and less expensive to get virtually the same results.
Roll20 for me by a long shot. its extremely user friendly and I dont have to buy all my content twice. It can do anything fantasy Grounds can do and more but it doesn't do it for you. If you have the expendable cash and want convenience fantasy grounds seems cool but damn is it confusing with all the downloads and licenses. I just prefer the easy of Roll20. Very glad to hear they will be supporting it day one.
It all boils down to basically you view everyone waiting till the release date every time to get their pdf as a new "perk" were as those of us who like the way it is see that as anything but a perk. The choice before us is most people get it slightly early every month or all of us wait... Given that, again these are not time sensitive documents and that I find that the slight spoilers on these threads from those who do get them early builds excitement for me and others. I just dont see how that is in anyway a perk but as with any subject its all relative to your own opinions.
Im not sure what all the fuss is about. Paizo can offer few real advantages to subscribing as they are a smallish publisher in the grand scheme of things. I dont see how making everyone wait is better than just letting things be. As is some getting it sooner and most if not all getting the PDF before street date is far more exciting and better PR for them.. and they dont have to throw more cogs in the machine. Despite the shinny new website it is still prone in its current state to numerous back end issues that crop up nearly every big release like this. Trying to do what your suggesting would be no small task and amount to a very large investment in time and capital to overhaul something like this. Im not apposed to change. Heck, I love it in regards to games and its one of the big reasons im stoked for PF2. but when (what seems like) the vast majority of people are happy with the way things are I just dont see the return on investment for them. The Free PDF already is a very nice perk and honestly the biggest draw to subscribe in the first place. The discount is pretty darn nice too... kicking myself for not doing the Paizo advantage sooner but my group has been doing up Starfinder and as its done mainly on line I had no need for the accessories sub. to qualify for how it used to work for only Starfinder stuff.
