Ushari tries not to blush, as she looks at him. I...I don't know what to say to him. Finally, she softly replies, "I wanted to thank you for helping save Fin back when the goblins attacked us. That was very...noble of you." He frowns, "Fin? Oh, Blue-Hair-Not-Small-Woman! Yes, that was good fight. No thanks needed." He fidgets awkwardly, "Well, I must go now. Hunting while light is good. Goodbye." He signals to some of the locals boys who've been lingering around and stalks off.
Vargr looks around briefly as if this might be some sort of elaborate trap. "You... welcome, Gold-Hair-Tiny-Woman." He looks like he's trying to figure out something else to say but concludes, "Yes... welcome."
Being illiterate proves advantageous for the rips across the giant's chest appear as no more than additional damage to Vargr. He takes advantage of Fin's distraction and slams his blade into the brute's head, carving a massive crease into its skull. Vargr: Hit DAM Crit? Hit DAM Yes DAM TOTAL: 47
Vargr growls, leaps at the giant, and attempts to sheer it in half. His massive blade bites into the brute's shoulder. Vargr: Hit DAM
Vargr looks Thrane, "So we wait for it?" Thrane nods, "Yes, it is safer." The answer seems to satisfy Vargr. He prepares to strike if the beast comes towards him.
Vargr breathes heavily working himself into a singular state of aggression as his muscles swell beneath his coat.
Vargr nods at Thrane's words, "Yes, I am Vargr. The woods are my home but I have friends here. What I hit with my sword dies." Jayse sizes the furry man-creature up. He has to be about about 7' 6", perhaps 350 pounds, and it is all muscle. His greatsword is probably the same length as Fin's but is shaped more like a broadsword, making it nearly twice as wide.
Vargr looks down at the monk, and pokes a meaty thumb at himself, "Vargr. I live near here." He points at the crumpled goblin, "You beat hell out of him. Make me laugh." He pats the monk in approval.
Vargr rushes forward and drives his blade straight through one of the remaining goblins. Vargr:

Vargr sidesteps to pin the goblin between himself and the Elf woman. He drives the point of his blade at the small opponent... but the irritating little creatures barely avoids the blow. Vargr looses a feral growl, growing angry. Vargr:

Vargr, from his hiding spot in the southern wood, sees the small Elf woman get surrounded. He charges immediately moving past the tiny girl and her goblin friends. Fin sees a massive furred creature charge towards her bearing an absolutely huge greatsword. It and his clothing - an armored kilt and a whipping armored leather jacket - are the only things that convince her he isn't a were-lion. She is relieved when his blow crashes down on one of the goblins flanking her. The blow crushes the goblin, driving it into the ground. Vargr:
