About Vanus Lugornum

-Mother unknowingly signed a bloodpact with society of asmodeus to save baby (him)
-Born with a birthmark
-Raised in the church of Mitra as assistant to priest
-Obsessed with order, began to use Command to make people obedient to Mitra, without even using a focus.
-Was suspended from church for using deities power for evil
-Was cast out from his home
-Harnessed his magic in the streets to make a living

-Birthmark began to grow with each time Vanus indulges his lust for order.
-Was approached by Society of Asmodeus, offering him order, and the opportunity to use his strengths.

-After his ideas became popular in the streets, Sir Balin of Karfeld put him in manacles and labled him as a heretic, to be burned at the stake.

-Vanus does not so much get angry as he gets even. Given the oligarchic setting (i'm assuming this is the case... :S), he knows that taking out the local government by revolution would be the easiest way for him to bring down the church. While getting even is nice, he's more interested at the prospect of bringing about a new age. Simply put, promises of decent rations for everyone through an organized economy are his scheme. What he really wants is to enslave the entire city, with the ruling body being the society of Asmodeus.

-Vanus is 35, but looks to be in his 40's. He is a bit skinny, but very rugged. His features over time have begun to change as his birthmark on his back grows. He has a pointy chin, distinct cheekbones, sharp eyebrows, yellowing eyes, longer nails, sharper teeth, and a devious grin.

- His personality is very magnetic. Everything he says makes sense, but somehow rings suspect to all those that hear it. Regardless, there are few who would double cross him or deny him (whether by choice, or some magical influence). He is obsessed with order. If there is anything under his scope of influence (which is almost everything), he will slowly devise ways to bring order into it. He uses parchment and ink to his advantage whenever possible, and will use peoples words against them to gain power over them. As a true Machiavellian, he understands the value of stringing anybody and everybody along as long as it benefits him.

Aura of Evil (Ex) You project a moderate evil aura.
Aura of Law (Ex) You project a moderate lawful aura.
Birthmark You were born with a strange birthmark that looks very similar to the holy symbol of the god you chose to worship later in life.
Bonus Feat Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Channel Negative Energy (Su) You can unleash a wave of negative energy. You must choose to deal 1d6 points of positive energy damage to living creatures or to heal undead creatures of 1d6 points of damage. Creatures that take damage from channeled energy receive a DC 14 Will save to halve the damage. You can use this abilty 6 times per day.
Hell's Corruption (Su) You can cause a creature to become more susceptible to corruption as a melee touch attack. Creatures touched take a -2 penalty on all saving throws and must roll all opposed skill checks twice, taking the worse result. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1). You can use this ability for a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Orisons You can prepare a number of orisons, or 0-level spells. These spells are cast like any other spells, but they are not expended when used and may be used again.
Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Spontaneous Casting You can channel stored spell energy into inflict spells that you did not prepare ahead of time. You can "lose" any prepared spell that is not an orison or domain spell in order to cast any inflict spell of the same spell level or lower (an inflict spell is any spell with "Inflict" in its name).
Sudden Shift (Sp) In the blink of an eye, you can appear somewhere else. As an immediate action, after you are missed by a melee attack, you can teleport up to 10 feet to a space that you can see. This space must be inside the reach of the creature that attacked you. You can use this power a number of times each day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
