About Valais Vitale
Concept: Valais is a elven aasimar and a Pathfinder archivist. She was once a normal elf, but an encounter with the demonic vivisectionist Arastrax left her mutated and warped, with demonic parts grafted onto her. An adventure in Heaven, and the ritualistic intervention of Ary's party, purified her. She has been infused with the planar energies of Heaven, leaving her with divine angelic powers in addition to her mundane expertise as a scribe and archivist.
When adventuring, Valais carries a small collection of reference books in her pocket, as well as a tent, a bedroll, a blanket, and a shovel on her back. She wears a wayfinder around her neck that identifies her as a member of the Society, and a pair of magical spectacles that help her read unfamiliar text. Valais is able to point out the weak spots of enemies to help her allies defeat them, and she is also able to cast a small collection of spells. When pressed, she can release her Heavenly energy in one powerful burst that damages and blinds evil foes, but she can only do this once, and avoids combat unless completely necessary.
