"Indeed, upon closing the rift, this stormlure popped out of the final flash of chaos. And the ruins Krakos mentioned included strange pipes, and large blue crystals which seemed to be part of the problem. Oh and the murals. And those weird pipes. And remember the storm that damaged our raft?"

Zephyr goes on to describe the pipes and the murals, and then the crystals & 'haunt' in greater detail, how the crystals glowed and the whirlwind blasted off electricity and how we disabled the crystals, etc. Then he'll describe the final climactic battle, and how the protean seemed to control the wysps--and was even healed by the dying burst of one of the wysps. He then suggests that someone from the Concordance may want to speak with the wysps, in addition to further exploring the ruined tower and its murals. While the level of detail seems impressive, the narrative is a bit disjointed and flighty.

Any PC trying & able to keep an eye on other areas:
While he's a great distance away, it's not too difficult to make out Zephyr heading back for your damaged vessel, dragging along a large object--probably the masthead.

Public service, here's the spoiler our previous GM put up about maneuvering in plane of air:

Subjective Directional Gravity:

In most parts of the Plane of Air, each individual chooses the direction of gravity’s pull. When walking on solid surfaces, choosing the direction of the surface to be “down” is relatively intuitive and does not require a skill check. In midair, creatures with natural flight can fly normally. Those without the ability to fly, or those who would prefer to move faster, can attempt to set the direction of gravity.

Once per round as a free action, an individual can attempt a DC 16 Wisdom check to pick a new direction for gravity. If she succeeds, she begins falling in that direction, moving 150 feet in a straight line on the first round and 300 feet on each succeeding round. If she fails, she can attempt the Wisdom check again the following round. The DC decreases to 12 until she succeeds. Once an individual starts falling in a direction, stopping requires a successful DC 16 Wisdom check to set gravity in the exact opposite direction. If she succeeds, she continues falling 150 feet in her original direction for 1 round, then stops.

Because an individual in free fall cannot stop quickly, performing actions during the fall is difficult. However, the PCs may ready actions and perform them during the free fall, such as readying an action to grab an object or to attack a creature while soaring past it. Moving past an opponent in this manner provokes at attack of opportunity. A PC under the effects of a feather fall spell falls at only 60 feet per round and gains a +2 circumstance bonus on the Wisdom checks to change direction.

If Zephyr wills himself to fall in a direction, after he starts falling, can he activate his skymaster ability and add his Fly speed to rate of falling?

You see a rather dour looking male Sylph with a very pinched and bitter face, wearing leather armor and carrying a spear. His brief speech drifts to an end as a haunted faraway look crosses his face. Clearly his mind is elsewhere, and it is not a pleasant place.
