![]() Is there a way to get around the ammunition quality? Specifically the fact that shurikens are deystroyed on a hit and lost if they miss? I was cosidering adamintine to get around the deystroyed effect but the lost effect? I was thinking of enchanting them down the way and was wondering if this is just a waste of resources. Thanks. ![]()
![]() Hey guys, I am seriously considering making a fighter/barbarian and I find that I am having difficulty deciding on how exactly I should go about this. I have really only done classes that had sepcific roles and plenty of direction in how to fufill this role like the Magus. I find that the fighter's freedom in deciding how the character functions is slightly daunting. For this reason I would like some advice in how I can help make this character what I envison him to be. Also, as I am a relatively new player to pathfinder in general I would appreciate any other advice even loosely related to my concept. So with that in mind here is what I am thinking for my character concept. I want to create a Norse warrior who fights with a longsword and a shield. So essentially a human ulfen, who would be the pathfinder equvalent to a Jomsviking. I was wondering if their was an effective way to multiclass as barbarian and still effectively use a sword and shield or if I shoulld abandon multiclassiing and focus purely on being a fighter? It would be really awesome if I could play the viking beserker effectively. Thanks P.S. this is for PFS ![]()
![]() Sigh...that was my understanding of how it worked but the GM was dead set that I was wrong. He said he had a couple of high level magus characters and got the venture captain present to agree with him. I choose not to make a big deal about because my party was fairly wrecking everything we fought but, I think next time I see him I will have to set him straight. Thanks everyone. ![]()
![]() Okay so I have. Run into trouble a few times with my magus due to varying degrees of GM knowledge. The magus is my favorite character to play but I hate having to change how I play based on how my current GM interpets the books. So here is what I would like can someone describe in detail what happens when my magus preforms the follwing actions:

![]() Thanks Fox I found your post earlier but forgot to bookmark it and then I couldn't find it again. To everyone else I realize that poisons aren't as great in pfs but I feel that using poiso
P.S. The Pathfinder staff should consider releasing some kind of legal resouce that makes poisons a little more user friendly. Also update the FAQ, I really hate argueing with GMs. Thanks everyone. ![]()
![]() I am currently playing a ninja and as such am considering using poisons for my character and would like some clarification on the ruling in the faq. Does the list of poisons available to characters with the poison use ability apply to which poison can be crafted? Or can I craft whatever I can afford? ![]()
![]() Before starting I would like to say I am new to pathfinder so I apologize if this question seems obvious. I am playing a tiefling magus and I am annoyed that there is no fire equivalent to shocking grasp, which seems to be the core damage spell this class uses. So my question is whether there are any problems with altering shocking grasp so that it is say burning grasp. I particularly want to know if there is a reason why there is no fire touch spell. As a tiefling my character has a affinity with fire and it feels lame to use lightning all the time. I realize that burning hands is an alternative but as it is not a touch spell I can not deliver it through spellstrike without taking useless abilities that would do more harm to my character than good. Thanks for any advice. |
