The Eberon setting had several races living together in the city of Sharn. IIR Medusea were often heads of organized gangs. Goblins were pretty much the bottom rung in every social ladder. The swamplands to the west were filled with orcs who had a remarkably civil culture. They held half-orcs in high esteem because they combined orcish strength with human cunning.
