Hello, I'm unsure if it's something our DM has been taking from 3.5 or from his other group but I've been trying to find it in the corebook since my friend noticed this in PFS play a few days back. When you are fighting in close range (being melee or such) can you take a 5 foot step away from the enemy or can you just 5 foot around them. ![]()
Hello, I've been trying to use my google-fu but did not work but I've been wondering about the kilt and I took up the ultimate equipment and tried to find it there but I saw nothing about it there and it does not say anything on the pfsrd or on herolab. I'm wondering if you can take a kilt of an armor and reattach to a new armor, I would say yes since it's something you just add and take of like every thing but if you guys know if there's a source you guys know of I'd like to have it to see for myself ![]()
Hello, I'm going to play in a game which I will only play one two times at a friend setting so I'm going to make a character which I start at level 9 or 10 ended in my mind as a hippy wizardry guy, so far I've been thinking a wizard 5 Magaambyan arcanist 4 or 5. I think I dont need to munchkin that much since this group has only one sub-par min-maxer I heared of so I can focus much of flavor. Something of the group, Cavalier level 9 (or 10 if they reach that before I arrive), Dwarf cleric which is so from what I hear a nature loving dwarf and a fire specialized wizard all the same level. I have not a clear point of the story except that some body is killing a lot of wizards (arcane spell casters in general I think) and I have yet to hear how I encounter the group, but that is up to the GM/DM so I will wait and be patient. What we are given at start with stats are 18/16/14/12/12/10 and my friend said that I should focus on making level 9 character rather then 10, I'm going to assume since I have not heared anything about WBL so I would assume what a level 9 character get. Not sure what to add more so please I would appreciate an input for this character ![]()

Reading this and I'm quite happy, since being an Icelander we kept much of the old norse langue and did not change like our cousins in scandinavia so I can read that and know most of their meaning :> ![]()
To contribute a bit to this thread I would like some "ground breaking" spells that would require a ritual, require a group of spell casters (arcane for arcane and divine for divine) for example if you are attacking a fort/castle in a fantasy setting, you ofcourse have siege ramps, catapults and what not of siege weaponry but with every siege weapon, you require loads of person to handle it, why not have something simmilar for the spell system, ofcourse they would be in a safe disstand so some long casting time would be fair. I found this by reading Undeath/Unholy/Unclean series from forgotten realms and I've liked that and been wanting to see it in some mmo. ![]()
I'm having a hard time telling my friend that it shouldn't be possible for a level 1 sorcerer with sylvan bloodline to take a lion as his companion sounds redundant if anything, but If I'm wrong please tell me that the lion doesn't start with the as shown on the animal companion list of pfsrd Thanks in advance and happy newyears for those who dont visit this thread second time :) ![]()
Greetings, I'm looking through some stuff on the pfsrd and I found a character that I might make, but I'm unsure if the rules support it in anyway so I tought I would ask here. The main thing I'm asking is if the monk ac (wisdom based) stacks with the duelist (or kensai arctype), I've been reading somewhere that ac doesn't stack witheach other, am I wrong, if so please give me a quick review of the rules since I clearly did not find them :). ![]()
Sorry for the late reply on my own thread ... work's been hectic :> But so far we have a ranger (Oread) and a Human summoner, I'm leaning on the paladin but I'm thinking of making a dragon diciple of him. I'm thinking of going Paladin 4 Bard 1 then stright DD till level 7, not sure if going any more will be good compared what I can gain from going paladin for the rest. ![]()
Greetings, I'm going to play with some of my friends and for now, the DM either said 20pt or 5d6 for stats ... I wanted to go with luck and it ended out nicely but I'm unsure which class I can actually benefit from those stats, I'm leaning druid for now since the party of three we already have a ranger but I'm uncertan of the other one. 17
those are the stat I have (not in that order though) I'm fairly sure we need the divine caster so I can heal off battles and handle the control if things get messy, but I'm open for Ideas. ![]()
Hello all. I've been invted to play in a game that starts in 2-3 weeks it seems and I have two ideas in my mind as of now how I'm planing my druid, either a summoning druid or a melee druid, I'm not sure which one to pick ... The group consist of two other and a DM, think we have a tiefling sorc and a half-ogre fighter with 25 point buy system and start at level 2 with no gold (something the DM had planned >_>) Since I've never seen a druid in play I have no clue how to throw one together nicely, so I ask you comunity to lend a hand in the crafting of a druid ![]()

Enlarge Person increses damage from melee weapons only, while Reduce Person lowers the damage from melee and projectile weapons. Neither affect thrown weapons. Now that is wierd, here I tought the spell mirriored each others ... oh well. Thank you for the reply, greatly apriciated ![]()
Hello, this is one of my few post I've made here on paizo so ... hello all but back to the question now. I read it somewhere that using a ranged weapon with the size modifided via those spells, you treat your long range damage as your original size (or of that weapon you are using) while melee weapons get buffed due to the size increased and not leaving your hand while swinging the weapon. So a elf wizard (for the sake of something) would use enlarge person and attack with his long sword the damage would go from 1d8 to 2d6 (right so far?), but using his bow with enlarged, his damage remains 1d8, and reduce person is like that just lower the damage size one lower ... right? those spells been giving me a headace for some time now, hope you can shed some light on those spells for me. |
