History:

Born on a Forge World in the Lathes, Tyboris showed an aptitude for Intelligence, perception, and Strength, though the later developed more over time. Dreams of being a Skitarri warrior were never realized, some kind of mutation was detected, and he was seized by Priests, or so he's been told. Not much of his memory before his transformation is clear, nor is it known why it happened. Perhaps he learned more than he should or stumbled upon something that was above his rank, regardless, it didn't sit well with him and he plotted his escape. The lure of the Void held much to be desired, giving up the familiarity of a Forge World and all it offered for the promise of fortune and ideological freedom.

Seeking passage in any way possible, Tyboris became familiar with the workings of ships and worked his way up the ranks. However, his quest for knowledge came at a greater price than he expected. Encounters with the Eldar became increasingly common and he quickly showed an appetite for destruction and warfare. That came to an abrupt end after he was captured while his crew were on an expedition. Enslaved by the Eldar, made to fight his own kind for their amusement, he survived and lived for knowledge. Soaking up all he could, he eventually fought his way to freedom, but not before stealing a Soul Stone. He learned much of Warp, thought it had to be done in secret. His paranoia grew, but it kept him safe. After his Rogue Trader perished he was able to secure work with the Dynasty, after having returned a precious heirloom given to him by the captain. What he left out of the reports, is he was forced to kill his Captain or be killed by him. While he took no pleasure in the victory, he knew his destiny and fortune lied elsewhere. By the grace of the Omnissiah, he lived to continue his research and bought enough influence with the Eldar Soul Stone to make himself the most capable Explorator he could be.
