yeah, sorry to bother everyone; to answer your question, bignorsewolf, i have no idea where i got the idea that i couldn't use it.
but why aren't bayonets added? from my understanding, the musket is equivalent to a civil war era musket, and by that point we'd been using bayonets for over 200 years
