About Tulokkk Grymvargun

Tulokkk Grymvargun is a semi-retired Pathfinder Society agent. Recent events involving the Shadow Lodge (before its redemption) and the treachery of once loyal leadership (Adril Hestram), has left him somewhat jaded towards the society. As a result of those events, he not only achieved the honored status of "seeker," but also attained the title of Venture-Captain. While proud of his accomplishments, he tends to scoff at the latter distinction due to its association with the treachery of those who held it.

These same recent experiences have shown Tulokkk his foolishness disregard of family and community. This caused a deep reconsideration to his devotions. Once a man who picked from the dogma of many gods (mostly Cayden Cailean), he now focuses on Erastil and "her" (he chooses to believe in a female representation) teachings about family, community, self-sacrifice, and As such, he has gone to great lengths and expense to convert his tavern into a communal space, adding rooms, an extensive kitchen, and private meeting rooms, renaming the establishment "Hearth's Home." Now a place of relaxation, family, and (less-drunken) revelry, it often also functions as a soup-kitchen. Tulokkk is known to provide free room/board for those in the greatest need. The rear doors of the main taproom and tall and wide and can be opened to reveal the grand garden in the read that serves as a place of worship for special occasions.

Not interested in the politics of the Pathfinder society, Tulokkk spends most of his time at "Hearth's Home" or at the home of a parishioner in need. He enjoys telling tales of heroic figures from his adventuring days to the youth, always with an underlying message of family, friendship, or community.

Occasionally, he can be found teaching at the Grand Lodge. While his involvement in the society's activities have diminished, he enjoys molding the minds and skills of the next generation of agents. His greatest hope is that these new agents will be a better breed, avoiding the mistakes and pitfalls he and his companions encountered, many of whom did not survive the experience.

All of this does not belay the possibility of Tulokkk coming out of semi-retirement to strap on his armor and axe to help an old friend or join a worthy cause.
