I've been using PF for a while now and it's the best I've seen. Simple.
Yes, it takes a little time to learn but so does learning anything - it's not instant gratification but the end result is fab. I really enjoyed learning how to use CC3 and it made teh other add-ons feel familiar.
Given the time, you will be able to create city maps as good as most magazine published images.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it takes some time to get really good with this program. But once you know what you're doing, there'll be no going back to hand drawn.
I was a software mapping novice to begin with but it only took a couple of hours to get confident with DD3. Then I started adding in all kinds of cool effects. It will print over multiple pages and to miniatures scale too, which wil save you hours messing with jpegs and sizings etc. Download a couple of tutorials from the PF website to really get cracking.
Awesome product.
