Carry a pair of shackles for when that one person in the party is about to do something crazy or alienate NPCs, and never be afraid to make a playful grapple check against your other party members.

I'm making a monk duelist tank. I used the point system for ability scores to customize it. With Svirfneblin racial modifiers and 3 4th level advancements (12th level), but disregarding magic items, the ability scores are:

Str 5, Dex 22, Con 13, Int 12, Wis 16, Cha 3
I can live with being a social outcast and having a low charisma. Also I have the "weapon finesse" feat and "small but deadly" feat, so a low strength doesn't affect me offensively. The only drawback is that I have a carrying maximum for a light load (which I intend to have) of 12 lbs. My AC is really good, so I can tank. Additionally, I manage to compensate for not having any strength bonus to damage with "Hammer the Gap", and the duelist ability precise strike and magic items. For example I wield a +5 cestus, which only modifies my unarmed strike with the +5 bonus, but lets me use my monk level for damage and stunning fist. Then I have the amulet of mighty fists. If I use the amulet for only weapon abilities, both items stack in a cost effective way.
I don't think the cestus works the way you think it does and a lot of the information in this thread is outdated. I'm not sure if you're looking for advice or just sharing your character build but you may want to start a new thread.

Knight who says Meh, what info in the monk duelist build is "out of date"?
