This video will take you back to San Francisco in the year 1906. More specifically, one week before the earthquake and resulting fire that destroyed some 80% of the city.
The video was shot by a camera mounted on the front of a trolley as it travelled down Market street. You will notice some suprised reactions as people see the camera. The video was sent to New York by train one day before the devastating earthquake and fire, and doing so surely saved the video because the creator's office was destroyed.
I have never seen video with horses and wagons sharing the road with automobiles. So much to see in the 11 mins, make sure to allow the trolley to turn around to catch a glimpse of the newsboys waving.
San Francisco in 1906
Closest thing to time travel I have seen :)
One of my favorite things on Youtube
All the AP books for SS are appearing under this title on my downloads...

Clearly the person without a mask is playing Keanu Reeves in a strange reinactment of Point Break?
Mounted on the arm, the Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer for Mars Science Laboratory will determine the relative abundances of different elements in rocks and soils. Dr. Ralf Gellert of the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, is principal investigator for this instrument, which will be provided by the Canadian Space Agency.
In April 2004, NASA solicited proposals for specific instruments and investigations to be carried by Mars Science Laboratory. The agency selected eight of the proposals later that year and also reached agreements with Russia and Spain for carrying instruments those nations will provide.
Spain’s Ministry of Education and Science is providing the Rover Environmental Monitoring Station to measure atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, winds, plus ultraviolet radiation levels. The principal investigator is Javier Gómez-Elvira of the Center for Astrobiology, Madrid, an international partner of the NASA Astrobiology Institute.
Russia’s Federal Space Agency is providing the Dynamic Albedo of Neutrons instrument to measure subsurface hydrogen up to one meter (three feet) below the surface. Detections of hydrogen may indicate the presence of water in the form of ice or bound in minerals. Igor Mitrofanov of the Space Research Institute, Moscow, is the principal investigator.
An interesting kickstarter project...

Hey Mark,
Thanks for the fast reply. Maybe I need the all important reboot. I remembered a link to a PFS scenario featured on your anniversary sale page, clicked it, and accessed the lot of them. Hopefully just a reboot on my end...Thanks again!
Trying to pull up the list of PFS scenarios directs me back to the front page of the Paizo site. In fact, can not get to the point where I can click on the "place in cart" button. Made sure I was logged in, but something is wonky. Any advice??
Thanks...
Grats to all the Frogs...can't wait to see this final product, and looking forward to the new S&W Kickstarter!

I was about one minute from finishing mowing my front yard when I caught a rock with the mower and aforementioned rock launched into the rear window of my truck. Total window carnage.
I figure it was a one in a million shot. (exaggeration) I finally make a one in a million shot and this is it?? :)
Nothing else was destroyed today, so that is good...
Congrats to the final four! And down the stretch they come...
"Return what you have stolen from me!!"
Do I remember reading that PF Tales were going to start coming out more often??
I would support such a move!!

hit sign out (though not really in), entered my email addy and password, brought me back to your front page again...
When I goto the log in screen, I enter my email address and password. Then it brings up the exact same screen. Enter my email and password again, brings up same screen again...
No luck with the cookies...
I will try again in a bit.
Any other ideas?
Still not letting me on Gary...same symptoms. submit password gets you back to home page...
Same...no can get into account.
Thanks Cosmo. I have a way of complicating my orders in ways that would make the Paizo training manual.

Our power's been flickering this morning, so I'm keeping my laptop charging as long as possible. If it goes out, I'll have to strap snowshoes on the cats before herding them onto the treadmill that serves as our backup power source. Ugh. Hope the power is back on steady for you. Reminds me of winter here in Dallas two years ago. My lights (during a large snowstorm for us) seemed to dim. Then, all power was lost. I thought, "Hey, should be a few hours and all will be restored." It was 5 (five!!) days without power in my hood until all was restored.
Stay warm all. Keep the cats warmed up in the on-deck circle.
Hello...
Can you guys change my pending order from standard to first class mail please?
THanks....

Looking forward to getting into it...
Man, I hope that is a good read! You have to post your critique TB! Enjoyed 11/22/63! I have always loved time travel stories, all the way back to the tv show Voyager! when I was a kid. SK's characters come to life, and the book is full of great plot lines. (in addition to the obvious plot line of the story)
In his Afterword section, SK notes that Jack Finney wrote "Time and Again." SK credits Time and Again as the greatest time-travel story. Found a copy of it the other day and look forward to reading it soon.
