Timdok smirks behind his hand at the lover's quarrel, and tries to get a sense of the heart of the quarrel.
"We can just save it up for the sequal!" Timdok says. "That will be the award-winning one. Critics love an opera about operas."
"Your turn, big guy," Timdok quips at the last remaining demon.

"Thanks for that!" Tim puffs as Cerulean bolsters him. "Next in line:" Tim attacks the new blob.

"Ouch! Acid, really?!" Timdok complains as he punches the creature.

"I'm going to need a hot bath," Timdok wrinkles his nose and drops into stumbling stance, then tumbles behind the closest demon.

Yikes. Artists! "You're quite sure it's flourishing? I wouldn't want to push a flower over the bring for our production." If he answers in the affirmative, Tim will ask him for more specific directions.
"Fenton this is beautiful work. My only suggestion is to fit it for quick changes," Timdok comments. "I always tried to dress to fit in. Old habit."
Tim tries to change up his attitude, "What a pleasant day. I bet we are going to find it today."
"You know, there's a swamp viper that I once hunted through Mivon, dreadful creature. Camping always reminds me of it," Timdok shares casually as he peeks around a tree.
Artists! Tim glances with distaste at the forest floor, "I'll have pine needles all over my best boots..." He looks for signs of the birds.
"Well, we've an opera commissioned about our adventures, and we're looking for some expert replica props," Timdok explains. "We've got the appropraite materials, but we'd need you to make convincing weapons and armor." "Well, for those folk, anyway," he adds. "I mostly just punch people." He describes the physical details and some things about fighting style of each party members.
"Well, if we go into metalsmithing, we'll be well set-up," Timdok comments. "Off to Kintargo?"
Though he's no expert in it, Tim keeps his eyes open at the Gas Forges.
"Ah, Riddleport. It's not Katapesh, but you can still get most things quickly, for the right price," Timdok comments. He might know some contacts there, off-hand.
"I think choirs of angels singing when we triumph could be a nice touch, too!" Timdok adds.
"Well, it's a story of the forces of good triumphing over dark fiends who would enslave the very memories and souls of countless people--ourselves included!" Timdok explains.
"That's exactly right. Word of your expertise in dramatic performances has spread throughout the art scene."
"Listrassa seems like the best match for us," Timdok opines. "We should be able to make our way to Ustalav without much trouble. I think we have the best chance of our opera making a lasting impression if we empashize the emotional side of it."
Timdok still isn't sure that he has the hang of this theater thing. Cerulean barely looks like a monkey goblin.
"I bow to your expertise," Timdok says with a theatrical bow to Cerulean.
Tim just can't see how Lux would get into the role.
Timdok watches Miriam's performance closely, hoping to see signs of leadership potential in the next auditioner.
Timdok keeps an eye both on the performer and on Esirelle.
Timdok asks around about the potential actors: "We're looking for 'world-weary charm, meets secrets from the past, meets redemption arc.' Oh, and handsome doesn't hurt."
As they leave the new sponsor's house: "Well, I suppose she won't want the actors to say anything too ridiculous. Esirelle's actor declaring that she went to a finishing school, for instance." He grins at the group's manager.
"Alright, here I go: Hey! What's that over there!" Timdok distracts the potential patron as he slips out of sight.
"I think we're natural producers, you guys!" Timdok beams.
"Oh, well done, Kharya!" Timdok congratulates the dwarf. "Certainly did a much better job than I would have. 'Never fight fair if you don't have to,' one of my teachers once told me."
Tim raises an eyebrow at Kharya, and gives a little half-bow, inviting her to take up the duel if she wishes.
"Ah, thanks, Mr. Scaley," Timdok graciously accepts a drink. "Nice monocle, old boy." "We are indeed putting on an opera," he agrees with Xerysis. "As I'm sure you know, securing funding is a big step. We do already have several prominent investors, but we wanted to give you a chance to engage in the project as well."
"Yes, and good work there, Cerulean. No need for us to have a reluctant diva and her mother complicating everything," Timdok compliments.
"You are as well-informed as you are stunning, Mistress Aulamaxa," Timdok lays it on thick as he bows to the woman. "We are indeed seeking funding for an exciting new opera project. With your help, we could make it a piece of art to remember. Action! Drama! Betrayal! Cast of thousands!"
"And we're sure to succeed, being such accomplished actors," Timdok assures the former performer.
"What sort of woman keeps a skull peeler as a pet?!" Timdok gasps in disbelief as soon as they are out of earshot. [b]"Hopefully her investment keeps her from buying anything more horrifying...a krenshar named Duke Cuddles, perhaps?"
"What a charming creature!" Timdok proclaims with a bead of sweat running down his forehead. "I think I'll admire his fascinating qualities from a respectful distance." "What a long tongue he has! (For instance.) And so sharp. You rarely see that in nature, and almost never more than once." He gives the group a cautioning glance.
"Well, there's certainly lots of action and adventure. Betrayal, death, the whole panoply of mortal existence, really. With some immortal existence to boot." Timdok introduces, but remains vague. "We'd love to have you invested in the project; we're enthusiastic, but you're much more familiar with the dramatic arts."
"Well, we need money--and a draw for an audience--and I think everyone loves a comeback. Let's get Ricovial back on board!" Timdok suggests.

Timdok is happy to take a break after all that acting, "That was fun, but I don't think it's enough to bring me out of retirement. After the treasure we found while defeating Akhenaten , we should all be living lives of leisure."
This is all getting a bit strange for Timdok, but he manages to pass off the "accident." "They just don't make those tables like they used to."
Timdok's fake mustache, hastily donned for the performance, slips from his lip, but with a casual wave of his hand he transforms it into an impressive unibrow.
Timdok goes for it, likely insulting anyone who actually speaks Aquan.
Timdok listens closely to Esirelle's instructions and struts across the floor.
Timdok just belts as loud as his lungs can support.
Timdok snatches up a burned twig from a nearby fireplace and draws a sinister mustache across his lip, "Ha! If you want dinner, Lady, you'll give into my demands!"
Timdok tries to keep his cool as the heckles come in: "I understand that everyone is upset, but really, this is a business matter. There's no need to make it personal."
