"What a charming creature!" Timdok proclaims with a bead of sweat running down his forehead. "I think I'll admire his fascinating qualities from a respectful distance." "What a long tongue he has! (For instance.) And so sharp. You rarely see that in nature, and almost never more than once." He gives the group a cautioning glance.
"Well, there's certainly lots of action and adventure. Betrayal, death, the whole panoply of mortal existence, really. With some immortal existence to boot." Timdok introduces, but remains vague. "We'd love to have you invested in the project; we're enthusiastic, but you're much more familiar with the dramatic arts."
"Well, we need money--and a draw for an audience--and I think everyone loves a comeback. Let's get Ricovial back on board!" Timdok suggests.

Timdok is happy to take a break after all that acting, "That was fun, but I don't think it's enough to bring me out of retirement. After the treasure we found while defeating Akhenaten , we should all be living lives of leisure."
This is all getting a bit strange for Timdok, but he manages to pass off the "accident." "They just don't make those tables like they used to."
Timdok's fake mustache, hastily donned for the performance, slips from his lip, but with a casual wave of his hand he transforms it into an impressive unibrow.
Timdok goes for it, likely insulting anyone who actually speaks Aquan.
Timdok listens closely to Esirelle's instructions and struts across the floor.
Timdok just belts as loud as his lungs can support.
Timdok snatches up a burned twig from a nearby fireplace and draws a sinister mustache across his lip, "Ha! If you want dinner, Lady, you'll give into my demands!"
Timdok tries to keep his cool as the heckles come in: "I understand that everyone is upset, but really, this is a business matter. There's no need to make it personal."
Timdok nods at Kharya and hams it up, "You better be playing this on the level, executrix. If there's one thing I learned from Uncle Toby, it's 'Never go against the family!' "
"Well, the truth is that Uncle Toby owed me a good deal of money from his gambling debts, and those weren't the sort of things he kept on the books, anyway," Timdok puts on a self-satisfied smirk and smiles to himself about the pun. "I'll need to be paid out, and money passed on through to his other creditors, or unsavory sorts might show up at the door."
In the fine traditions of his people, Timdok attempts to flatter the dragon: "I would say we are admirers like yourself, of powerful Izhkarial! Though our appreciation of Oriole's arts must pale beside your own. Truly, you are a wise and insightful patron to have cultivated such an artist. It speaks well to your tastes!"
"Oh, how generous of you!" Tim declares. He grabs the clockwork device and nods toward the door. "Keep safe, ma'am. We've taken care of many of the dangerous creatures that have been such a nuisance around here, but we hear that there might be a dragon in the area."
"Well, talent must run in the family, as well as magnetic personality!" Timdok compliments. "We were sent here as talent scouts. We're staging an opera and Oriole would be perfect for it."
"OH, you are too modest! Surely we aren't the first handsome rogues to call on such a ravishing creature," Timdok gives the bather a playful smile. "If we had known who was behind this door, we would have taken some precautions to protect our hearts from your seductive beauty!" The halfling really lays it on thick. "As you guessed, we are good friends of Oriole and came here to check on our old chum."
"With any luck, we'll be out of here by then," Timdok hopes. "Esirelle, any thought on those barriers?"
"So Oriole's behind the barriers, and we've got a brine dragon on our heels," Timdok summarizes. "We won't find any more of you kidnappers in the manor?"
Timdok grits his teeth, but he ignores the sounds made by the bird. He steps up and unleashes a flurry of blows. He swipes at the bird, attempting to grab it again.
"Oof. My poor ears."
Timdok sprints across the room with the speed lent him by Esirelle. He lunges at the bird, trying to grab it, and punches at it.

Timdok throws his hands over his ears and slides back across the floor before dropping into his fighting stance and advancing on the harp.

"Nice work, friends," Timdok compliments as he backs off the statue. "I wasn't looking forward to bruising my knuckles on those."
"Shall we dance?" Timdok runs up to one of the statues, hoping to at least tie it up. After dumping it (hopefully), he approachs another, staying just out of reach.
"I'm worried for our quarry. No one would willingly let those pests hang around here," Timdok frets.
Tim continues down the path, tumbling to get behind the fey and giving them a hard punch!

"Well, suppose we help out our new friend," Timdok smiles as he drops into a fighting stance. He runs up and attacks one of the birdmen, feinting to send the creature off-guard.

"Perhaps a peak at that gazebo now, and follow along with our scaly friend after," Tim suggests. "Nice work, Esirelle. Hopefully our quarry didn't become a snack for that giant."
Tim shakes water out of his hair, just to have it dripping in his eyes a moment later. "Say what you want about Osirion, but at least you could keep your boots dry," he grumbles.
"That dino is wounded, folks. Anyone good with animals? Perhaps if we heal it. it will stop looking at me like a mid-morning snack."
"Well, each component in nature has its place, Cerulean," Timdok agrees. "And I've formulated my share of...elixirs as well. But, doesn't the sun orchid elixir upset the balance of nature? We are born but to die, after all."
"I'll leave it to you spellcasters to figure out the most expedient way to travel south, but I'd rather not end up in the drink," Timdok says. "A swim in the Shackles is likely to end up with a tasty halfling on the inside of one of Besmara's pets."
"Excellent information," Tim reflects to Cerulean. "Perhaps Esirelle can find a magical means of locating our flown songbird with this feather and these clues."
"I'll head down to the Three-Legged Devil and poke around. I've got an idea for a slack-line walk that I wanted to try out anyway," Timdok offers. At the hall, he balances several drinks on each hand as he walks along a line slung between two pillars.
"Well, I've never heard of them, but I was also never an opera buff."
"Much as I like a good joke, I think that our adventures are more fit to spectacle or drama," Timdok weighs in. "I'm not afraid to say who hurt I was when we got betrayed, and losing my memories was probably the most horrifying thing I'm been through." "Our confrontation with the Pharaoh was pretty epic, too, so that might fit a spectacular. There was a lot of unglamorous trekking around and following leads, though. Sleeping rough in the desert isn't spectacular, let me tell you."

"No need to waste a beautiful day," Timdok concludes as the fete in the park begins. He good-heartedly takes on some tumbling passes to entertain the crowd.
Timdok shrugs a bit at the news. "It's no surprise, really, that there are...black fingers...all over this city. We don't have any connection to the original shipment, so it seems unlikely they'll bother with us." Tim gives Gideon a hard look, "Providing no one lets slip our involvement. I'd be very disappointed if that happens."
"Well, I declare this all ours by right of salvage," Timdok states as he starts to fill the magic bag with jewelry. "Some choice items here, and our missing cargo."
Tim quickly drops into a fighting stance, advances on the crime boss, and throws two quick punches.
"You think you can boss us around?" Timdok asks. "That's rich. Look: We don't care much for your petty squabbles, but we have a job to do, and we're professionals. Hand over the cargo and we'll leave before things get messy."
"Hard to find good help, Kharya," Timdok opines as he opens the door to the office.
Timdok runs a hand over his face when they get into the odd museum. The odder the collection, the odder the owner. Couldn't this be a normal grudge? "We're looking for the cargo of the Misbegotten Albatross. Point us to it, and we'll see ourselves out. Lady Wormwood wants to move it to a new location. She hears the Dragonflies are on to the current hideout."
"Whew, refreshing!" Tim cracks his neck and stretches. "I wish I felt this way after every fight. Nice to be able to bend my knees."
Tim steps back up to the creature and pummels it.

The halfling's head rings with the scream, but he feints against the creature and tries to punch it before stepping back.
